So i had been having the same dream for 3 days straight. It was back when I use to work at my last job and how I was always bitter. Then, I watched a bible study video of how the Pharaoh, and his two servants who were in jail with Joseph had reoccurring dreams (Coincidence? Maybe). Anyways, the pastor went on to explain that God is the only dream interpreter and was giving a life lesson about how normally Christians go about a certain situation; I forget what the pastor said. The point is it hit me and felt like I should pray on this. When I did, guys, I got the message and busted out in tears. I am an easy crier but I do not burst out in tears like that...it is usually a few trickles when it reminds me of some sensitive things but I do not cry like this usually. I am thankful that I got to live a story like he tells in his word. God is really awesome:) Just thought I would share this and feel free to share any of your personal bible story experiences if you'd like:)

God bless you my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

Thanks for sharing sushilp3585
I love how God communicates with dreams. It's amazing how these dreams never leave our minds until we have understood them. Even then we never forget them. Some are guidance sone are prophetic .

That's an awesome testimony to feel so close to God in who gave you great insight.

My own Bible story was like that of Paul on the road to Damascus as I experienced the love and power of God through that of either Jesus or an angel speaking to me as I laid still on the ground. Yes, I literally hit dirt that day 23 years ago and will never forget such an overwhelming experience.

I loved the testimony!

When the Holy Spirit starts doing things in our lives it really effects our spirit! Just the simple fact that the Holy Spirit is taking the time to work with us is realized in our spirit and it just gets us. I was not an easy crier when He came into my life yet I would suddenly find myself suddenly break down in tears, because my in my spirit I was shocked, overwhelmed, and amazed that God would would consider me. That seems to be understood better by my spirit than my mind.

I quoted the above part of the testimony because it often gets missed or miss understood by Christians!

When we get dreams we need to take them to the Lord and listen to what He says about them! It is not just that God is the only dream interpreter, but that we need to get the interpretation from Him!!!

Now the Holy Spirit of God is not the only spirit who can or will give you dreams, but of course the devil is a liar and should not be sought for interpretation. What is the case is that spirits do put impressions on you and that can mean dreams, and we need to be more aware of what is going on around us in the spirit realm - thus we need to seek our Lord Jesus Christ and listen to what His Holy Spirit has to say about things like dreams! It is very educational!!

God uses dreams to get our attention and to help educate us about the spiritual/heavenly realm around us! It is written that they will all be taught of God, so we need to seek the Teacher and listen to what He has to say, when we get dreams. Our spirit might be more aware and amazed that God would communicate with us than our mind is, but we can understand with our mind the logic and importance of needing to seek Him, can't we?

It comes down to hearing with faith. We need to do that. If we seek the Lord for answers, and considering that we are preaching the Word of God, we should be seeking words from the Holy Spirit that we can pick up with our spirit. It is written that the Lord gives wisdom and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Prov 2:6) and so it is that the Lord gives us His Holy Spirit who speaks words to our spirit and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding about those dreams - eg. the interpretation.

We need to get the interpretation from His mouth - the Holy Spirit speaking to our spirit.

Of course, again the Holy Spirit is not the only spirit, so we test the spirit and proceed with caution and wisdom. Still, remember that your spirit tends to be fairly sensitive to what is going on in the heavens - certainly more so that your mind. So we use our mind to seek the Lord and our spirit to pick up what we are getting back and then our mind again to consider it all. What you don't want to do is tell yourself 'that was an interesting dream' and just move on without getting the interpretation from our Lord Jesus Christ!

Thank you for the insight!:) I am definitely guilty of this and will have to work on it. I have had couple of other dreams that do not make sense at all and I just pass them by as being just a random dream(s). This will also lead to my two questions which i will post here shortly, so whoever is reading this reply, take a look at my question posts! Your feedback will be appreciated:)

God Bless you
