Well, this was five months ago now and progress has been made I guess, idk. I knew that this wasn't going to go away overnight, but I never thought I would go through something like this in my walk with God. I've been struggling with this for 7 months now and the longest I've gotten away from porn was 11 days. Your prayers are appreciated and they help a lot, but I feel like a failure really, to God and to all my family in the faith. I'm never gonna stop fighting this though, even if I have to fight it for the rest of my life. Please pray for me brothers and sisters, I don't want my heart to grow any harder or to grieve the Holy Spirit any longer.

God Bless,

That's 11 days you never had before which is a great accomplishment and now work on 12, 13 14, etc. etc. Fill those moments of temptation with the word of God in fellowship with Him. Involve yourself in other things you enjoy doing that will help take your mind off of it. Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord in whom is your help and we are here to support you.

Remember the words of Jesus and what He told Satan when He was tempted.

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Always in my prayers.

I posted a prayer thread about this problem of mine a month or so ago, but nobody replied. I have severely struggled with porn since late November, falling into it almost daily. Before that, I didn't have porn problem for awhile, I'd fall into on occasion but nothing like this. But, I fell into it in November and it's been a daily struggle. The most I got away from it was four or five days.

Please pray for me brothers and sisters! I fell into sin badly in 2018, porn was one of the many sins I fell into during that time. I saw my life back then and I was miserable. Porn offers me nothing, I hate and detest it and want to get away from it. Please pray that God will give me the strength to fight the temptation.

I'm only 15 years old, and this is the time when most guys get a lifelong addiction to porn it seems. I don't want this for me, or my future wife.

God Bless,
Well a day after this is thread was posted I fell into it again but have managed to stay clean for a week now! Which is the longest I've stayed away from it in months! Thank you for your prayers everyone, but if it's not a problem I'd like for you all to keep me in your prayers so I won't fall into to temptation.

Thanks God Bless,
Hey Brock! I hear you and can definitely relate to the feeling and the needs! I will personally pray that God will help you to break the chains.
But also and even more important. God gave us free will. This is mostly a choice you are going to have to make for yourself. It's a yes or no matter!
Man up and make the decision to just stop watching porn.
Try to find something alternative things to use ur mind on.
And at first it will be very hard. But after only a few weeks it won't even be a problem.
We have to take control over our own minds. God will definitely help you but you have to do it!
God bless you brother! I believe in you!

Yes. And always remember that this is not only empty words.
They are alive and very powerful!
Amen.

Well, as of recently, I've barely been able to go a day. It's like when I'm tempted I know what I need to do, and I might fight it for awhile. But then I justify it and do it anyway then feel like garbage after.

Hi Btock
Sorry you are still having such a battle with this. Any addiction is difficult to fight.
We are only flesh and blood, we cannot do it alone.
Take it to God and ask Him to give you the power to overcome. He will give you the power of the Holy Spirit to gain the victory. When temptation comes again remind yourself that you have that power and rebuke satan. Just believe and be willing to do it. Affirm ln spoken words that the Holy Spirit succeeds in all battles.
I know you love The Lord. Never give up and pray often.
Let The Holy Spurit work through you. You will win this battle.
Love you brother. God Bless.

Thank you sis, you words are always comforting and encouraging.

Many Christians have doubts about their salvation at times. Satan puts those thoughts on your mind. Rebuke him in the name of Jesus.
You belong to Christ.
Pray Brock , tell God what is happening and ask Him to help take away your doubts.
Praying for you.

Brock I am so proud of you as you are taking the step to conqueror this beast that is causing a stumbling block for you. The more you fellowship with God in prayer and study the scriptures the stronger you will become and be able to overcome anything that Satan will use to try and destroy your faith in Christ. You have a great support system here and we all care for you deeply. Keep pressing forward and never look back.

God bless and keep you Brock :)

For me I think maybe trying and wanting to be good enough. Gets me the need for release. Then shame and guilt.
Over and over again..

I have found help in focusing less on myself and my thoughts and also feelings to much.
And I think that important to know that freedom comes from knowing the truth (God)
For me it's also about me having to take a stand on my believing and acting like it..

Like practically it's like to fix a problem. I need to find the source. Then pray, find scripture that talk's about the subject. And always a following solution or remedy.

Find the weakness or the wound and fix it with the right Words from the Bible or THG.
I even physically change from the word.

Remember the Bible is not just empty words. They are extremely powerful and working!

Well done Brock and i am not surprised.
Praise The Lord and nay He give you many blessings.

And he has for free! Take them. Find scripture about who you are and what you already have in Christ! Literally:)

12, 13, 14 all the way up to victory in Jesus, amen. This is a wonderful praise report Brock. Keep on keeping on
God bless your heart

I heard like physiological that you are close to beeing past the hardest part. (By days..)
