Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

If Jesus were to return sometime today would you be prepared to be caught up to Him?

I know I'm prepared.

i dunno. my faith has been attacked more lately....I think its part satan (typical for any Christian, I think) part also more "recovery..." as I get more in touch with all of reality, its only human nature to question and wonder and reflect, etc. blah.

but I pray so. good question, btw. :)

Not to worry. If you are in Christ you are prepared.

At the same time, Christians need to examine themselves daily, and deal with their present sins. Also we need to have all our affairs in order. Hezekiah was told to put his affairs in order since he would die shortly. But he prayed and God gave him an extension of life. And he also adjusted his attitude.

Our faith will always be under enemy attacks by Satan as even he works through others without faith to come against us as that is his way of trying to steal our faith in Christ, but if we are applying Ephesians 6:10-18 there is no way he will take victory over us.

Trust me brother you're not alone. Can yes and no be an answer? Cause I'm answering yes that I want to meet Jesus and be with Him in Heaven,.. but no I'm not sure that I'm really ready for it especially since I'm not even thirty years old yet. Btw, I'm glad these responses helped clarify the question because I saw this thread earlier I just wasn't sure what the OP was actually talking about.

Yes and no can not be an answer as whether you are either ready or not Jesus could come at any moment.

So, what does your age have to do with wanting to put off living with Christ in paradise. I know you want to get married and have kids, but don't you think being with Christ for eternity is more important?

That depends on whether or not He calls me but I'm a little upset with you right now so I think it's best that I'll leave it at that as since you asked me a question and I answered.

No one is promised tomorrow, as I have learned, by my sudden death, and resurrected by CPR, lol.
We all should be ready.
Live your life as it is your last day, because one day it will be your last.
Now, as far as the days of Noe, which we disagree about, that the fallen angels are coming back, the sons of God spoken about in Gen.6.
Rev.12:9
Satan and his angels cast out into the earth.
When this happens, no one knows, but we should be watching and waiting if we are still alive at this time.

We do know by reading all those things which must come first that we are to watch for and how the beast will have his reign for 3 1/2 years after Satan is finally kicked our of heaven with all his angels that follow after him, but even that could begin even today as even now it is all in the works.
