I use my imagination all the time. As a thread is playing out, I use my imagination trying to break the theological into visual parables. I have a hard time with verbal with my short memory loss. I like dealing in the visual realm. May you be blessed here.
 
I'm sure that it was said to be blasphemy.

The Holy Trinity is one. If you have met Jesus you know the Holy Spirit and God the Father. They are the same.

And where we try to be like Jesus... mimicking Jesus is not acceptable to us. It's a respect thingy.
 
Welcome to the forum, and I'm pretty sure that you belong here since it says that you're a christ follower, but do you mean pretending to impersonate the Holy Spirit? Sorry, but I'm confused. :confused

I apologize but this makes me laugh. No I do not want to impersonate the Holy Spirit. I was just told on another board that I could not personify the Holy Spirit especially if I am attempting to personify using a feminine form. I just need to know if this topic is off limits before I proceed to elaborate. Thanks.

Well I can't speak for anybody else but I really like that. Besides that, you're talking to somebody who watches and reads about a magical boarding school for witches and wizards so,.. I think it's safe to say that I'm pretty laid back about pretty much anything. :lol

Hi SP,
If you DID post something that goes against scripture,,,you would be told in a nice way.

We try to be friendly to each other here and we try to demonstrate the love of God.

I think you should go ahead and start threads or post what you believe and take it from there. I don't know anyone that has been banned because of their beliefs....

We use the masculine gender when referring to God because of the rules of Grammar.
But God is not male or female.
Father in heaven is also used because of the ways God watches over us....it's not as in direct contact as a mother has of Children.

The female gender is used with a variety of pagan gods.
Grouping God inadvertently with the pagan gods as if God is just another religion... well it's a bit insulting for something that we hold most dear.

That being said.
God is a person. God relates to us each on a personal level.

that deserves a thread. jewish thought on the female being part of the male is in Judaism. believed because chava came from ish. (eve being from adam). no the orthodox don't see God as a female. just that the nature of God ,whose image we are from includes things that God called good with eve and her nature.
