Because they love you, and want you to be healthy. They acted out of the proper motivation. Love.

Its not about personal likes and dislikes. Its about what is best for the person. If a new believer thinks alcohol is sin, for him it is. If he sees his teammates drinking and spraying alcohol on each other, new believers not yet strong in the faith may become emboldened to participate. For that new believer, it would be sin to do so because he is not acting in faith.

But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin. Romans 14:23 NKJV

I agree with the new policy of providing non alcoholic champagne in locker rooms. Just as you don't tempt an alcoholic by drinking in front of him. You don't tempt new converts to Christianity who think drinking is sin by drinking in front of them.

Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Romans 14:1-2 NKJV

If there is a new believer on the team who thinks alcohol is sin, don't get irate. Just use the non alcoholic champagne to celebrate to avoid tempting them. A baby Christian may not yet be strong enough in the faith to deal with it.

It looks like the days of holding the authorities accountable are over. Every Western government has decided that they are no longer accountable to the people, and will continue to do as they please, while they capitulate to Islam and the Caliphate. Gun control means people control, that will allow tyranny to replace all the freedoms for which many shed their blood over many years.

When Donald Trump took office, there seemed to be some hope of stopping the Swamp Creatures from continuing their shenanigans. But he allowed himself to be sabotaged, distracted, put on the defensive, and deflected from his primary objectives by his worthless advisers. That wall could have already been built had he chosen to make it happen from day one.

And now the Left-Liberal Extremists and Communists are flourishing, while the patriots and conservatives are on the defensive. Obama and Hillary are still on the loose, and all the Deep State operatives are still flourishing with help from the treasonous media networks. Congress and the Senate are totally dysfunctional, and have failed to produce anything positive over the past two years.
