Someone told me the other week the world would be a better place without religion. I replied and told them I don't think our prisons and court system is overflowing with Christians.

I agree but that doesn't mean that Christians don't make mistakes either. Anyways, I hope that everybody enjoyed their holiday yesterday (I know I did since the rain didn't last too long) but since there will be no news today, I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend as well. :biggrin

Hey everybody, this is a really abnormal occasion but it appears that since the summer holiday has been over for the past couple days,.. the forum isn't the only thing that's becoming slow again as there really isn't all that much interesting news that I feel like posting today. :neutral I apologize for the inconvenience but I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of the day and God bless. :biggrin

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) Before I get started on tonight's report I just want to say another R.I.P (since I created a separate thread about this) to Cameron Boyce who played the part of Carlos De'vil in the Descendants films. Carlos was my favorite character and I will really miss him. :sad My thoughts and prayers go towards his friends and family members. :pray

And a woman from Austin Texas was arrested last Thursday for allegedly leaving her puppy in a hot car that reached ninety-one degrees. Here's more of the details. :mad

Also a pothole that recently received internet fame has just recently had its graduation party. :lol

And also in honor of the new Lion King movie set to come out in theaters July nineteenth, Build-A-Bear has announced some new stuffed animals. :biggrin2

Also pets in Rhode Island can now be protected from domestic violence thanks to a new law! Here's more. :thumbsup

Finally in tonight's news an Ohio man who got bit by a spider is now currently warning others. Here's more of the information.

That's all for tonight's news and stay tuned for more news to come! :yes (Also this is my favorite scene from Descendants. :))

Hey guys I just wanted to let everybody on here know really quick that it's another break day and there is no news today. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and will enjoy the rest of their day and God bless. :biggrin

There isn't very many news stories that I feel like posting so I'm going to have another break day today. If there will be news tomorrow, I will try to post it before I go to the movies tomorrow night. :) (I'm going to see Toy Story 4. :woot)

There is your standard bludger and then there is the insane bludger.

Nowadays lots of people fund their travels by making interesting YouTube travel videos, and asking for donations if people like the videos. They provide a service in return for donations though. I can understand why begging on the street for donations from residents who can't afford to travel themselves would annoy Bali residents. People want to travel when they are still young enough to do so, and can enjoy it. They should find some reliable way to fund it though. A useful skill, such as carpenter, that they can employ part time in myriad locations. They should think it through, so they don't get stranded in a remote location without resources like those guys in Bali. Make a workable plan before setting out on their journey.

Its seems common these days for backpackers to have no plans and a "go with the flow" attitude. Thats fine but you need enough money to fund your travels or at least intend to work and get a work visa. Bludging is just expecting easy money. Why would you travel and put yourself in a situation you need to bludge.

When its a scientific and biological fact there is only XX or XY in humans , how can a doctor do there job if they are not allowed to be biologically correct.

XX is called Female and XY is called Male. Calling some XX a male and some XY a female just to please them is scientifically false.

Its rude to travel to 3rd world countires and beg for money when some people there beg just to feed there families and work like 100 hours a week just to put food on the table . These travellers spend thousands on flights and probably have a mommy and daddy who own a nice house and when they get back home will live comfortably.

Lots of western youngsters are amazingly naive, and don't understand the situation in much of the world.

Some youngsters have employable skills, and street smarts. Many skilled youngsters successfully travel the world. Some become global travelers for decades.

Other youngsters don't have employable skills, or street smarts. They start travelling, run out of money, and don't know what to do. They don't know how to stay safe in remote locations, and don't speak the local languages. Some people do better if they just stay at home, and get a regular job. Travelling the world takes a bit of skill.
