That Burger King may have had a drive through window for customers, but I don't think that was what they meant.

Go Indians.

Enough with that bullying stuff already. Children should be trained up in the way they should go.

May the Lord bless you.

May the Lord bless you as well and I agree that bullying needs to be put to an end, but sadly I don't think that that's going to happen with how the world is today because not everybody unfortunately trains up their children like that. :sad Also I thought that that comment that you made about the drive through window was funny, :lol but at the same time you should make sure that you either have twenty-twenty vision, or glasses or contacts before driving. :yesAnyways, there will be no news today so I hope that everybody enjoys the rest of their weekend and God bless! :biggrin2

20/20 ,must have glasses to pass test

Varies by state. 20/40 generally gets a person an unrestricted licence. 20/60 daytime driving only. Each state makes its own rules though. Your state of Florida allows 20/70 (with glasses), one of the most relaxed in the nation.

If a person's vision can be corrected to 20/20 by glasses, Florida does demand the person wear glasses. Maybe that is what you meant.

Hindus, Sihks, Jews, Christians, and Buddhists seem to get on ok.

Then again, they all believe in humanity and freedom of religion.
Hindus persecute Christians and Buddhists do as well, and these fight each other .India has that problem

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :) Since it's rather late and I just came back from the movie theaters a little while ago (I saw IT the second chapter :biggrin2) I think that it'll just be a copy and paste night tonight. :yes

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :)

Good idea to meet at safe stations set up by police departments in order to exchange items bought on-line. Not every place has one set up though. Here is a list of some police departments that have set up safe places to exchange items. The Houston Police Department offers some additional tips on safe meeting places. If your local PD doesn't offer a safe transaction place, its usually best to choose somewhere public where there are a lot of people around, and cameras. Walk away from the transaction if something doesn't seem right.

May the Lord bless you.

Also the amount of fighting...

Many of their early victories were the result of Persia and the Byzantine Empire fighting each other for so long that their people didn't want to fight anymore. They didn't enthusiastically resist when the Islamic armies marched north. The Byzantine intolerance of any denomination other than Orthodox also alienated myriad citizens of the Middle East. Few were willing to fight for the Byzantine emperors to repel the Islamic armies.

The Mongols conquered the Middle East, and then the Golden Horde converted to Islam. Timur in particular wanted his subjects to adopt Islam, partly accounting for it being popular in the various stans today.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) We have a rather short report to do today, but before I get to that I have a couple of announcements. The first announcement is that tomorrow is the eighteenth anniversary of the attacks of 911. :sad So there will be a special thread tomorrow to commemorate it and talk about it and let us continue praying for all of the victims' family and friends as well as the hope that this never happens again to America or any other country. :pray

The second announcement is that three weeks from today I will have my second annual spooktacular virtual Halloween party. :biggrin2 Just in case you weren't here last year or you need a reminder, there will be all of your favorite Halloween hits, virtual refreshments, as well as virtual trick-or-treat and the pumpkin carving contest. (This year I might even add a virtual campfire with ghost stories as another possibility. :wink)

If you want to participate in the virtual trick-or-treat, all you need to do is either post a picture of yourself wearing a costume, or just a costume that you are planning to wear this year for Halloween or that you would like to wear. However, before you can get any virtual candy don't forget, you have to say trick-or-treat first as I kept having to remind certain members and staff members of that last year. :nono (I got a whole lot of virtual candy from JohnDB last year and if he actually gives that much candy out for real, I bet he gets loads of trick-or-treaters! :lol)

Also, if you would like to participate for the pumpkin carving contest, take a picture of the pumpkin that you carve and the pumpkin that receives the most likes by October 31st AKA Halloween is the winner! :wootSo yes all of this information will be reposted on the first of October in my special thread, but I don't know about you guys but I'm already starting to get excited! :sohappy

Oh yeah and for my "It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year" Christmas celebration I'm trying to think of ways to make it bigger and better this year so if you have any ideas, be sure to PM me and I will actually make a public thread about it sometime in November. So please be sure to come to "April's Second Annual Virtual Halloween Party" because it's sure to be a howling good time! :shock

Anyways, back on today. :) Let's get right to today's report! :salute (All that was much longer than today's actual report. :lol)

First of all in today's news a grieving widow recently found the ashes of another man who was sent out to sea. Here's more on the story. :)

And a woman in North Canton Ohio is currently adjusting to life without limbs after suffering a rare infection caused by dog saliva. Here's more of the details.

Also this just in a foster dog in Cortland Ohio was stabbed and later euthanized after attacking a groomer over the weekend. Here's more.

And also the trial of the man falsely accused of being a member of Isis began today. Here's more of the information.

Finally in sports The Cleveland Indians had another victory last night as their final score was six to two. :woot

That's all for today's news! Have a wonderful rest of the day and God's blessings on you. :biggrin
