Revelation 14: 9-11
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”

:nonono More theories and predictions trying to use scripture for support of something we know nothing of concerning what this mark of this beast will actually be. As to what it will be no one knows, but those who do not take it when the son of perdition takes his seat and forces people to take it will be killed if they do not.

A mark can mean a visible impression, identifying seal, inscription or label and also the thoughts of the mind and actions of the hand. The mark of the beast is just that which is full of political self governed power that disguises itself as a religious system full of symbolism that is very deceptive to those who have no Spiritual discernment. From its throne will be displayed many signs and wonders that will promise peace and safety during the time of great tribulation as Gods wrath will be poured out during the seven trumpets sounding. Many will take this mark believing it to be a visible sign of God, but with a great falling away from God will be deceived and separated from God forever. Rev 13, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

An interesting study or read is about RFID( radio frequency identification). It can be implanted in humans for the purpose of ID. it is about the size of a grain of rice and be inserted with hypodermic needle. It has the approval of the FDA. It also can be inserted in merchandise and a full bag can be scanned in seconds and charged to the RFID that is implanted in a human. No need for cash. A person without one can could be denied the ability to purchase anything.

RFID has been given to people starting around 2015, but yet only another theory to what the mark of the beast is and all those who love to set dates for the return of Christ.

With credit cards you have to worry about fraud, in case your card is stolen.

What Ray said, plus with cards your liability is limited by law. As long as you report it as directed.

Another factor, people can walk by you and scan data on your credit card. What's to prevent them from similarly scanning an implanted chip? The chips will become rapidly outdated, as will the security technology incorporated into them. With cards, they send you a new one every so often, with up to date security tech. Who wants to have a new chip implanted every few years?

What would a person that already has a chip implant gain from stealing another's signature chip? It would be useless. Scripture says that it will be impossible to buy or sell without the mark. If I understand correctly a RFID is not a card that can be used by anyone, but only identifies the person who has the implant

hello for_his_glory, dirtfarmer here

RFID was around long before 2015, I think it has been around since the 50's or 60's.

I haven't read or heard any one setting dates in this op.

I will agree that there are many theories about the "mark of the beast".

Chips can be removed and replaced. They are usually close to the skin. If they can find people to swallow bags of drugs, they can find people willing to have chips temporarily replaced for a transaction.

Whether or not this digital ID is the Mark is debatable.
That many believers will refuse to take it is to be expected. Why take a chance?

From a technical stance here, if Microsoft has anything to do with digital ID, then it will be infested with malware and that's no good. LOL. It will have to be none-viral operating systems like Linux, Android, Chrome and the like. Linux itself I don't think will support that, maybe Google (Android). Most hacking comes from 1) Malware (i.e. Microsoft), 2) poor passwords, or 3) phishing (trickery to install Trojan malware or giving up a password). All operating systems are subject to Trojans, only Microsoft will "catch" other types of malware by clicks, typos or even turning on the computer. Unfortunately, most corporate entities are Microsoft users. Until that changes and the operating system is outlawed, I don't think we are at the digital ID just yet.

Because it simply gets it thousands of times over other operating systems.

Or does it simply get attacked, while others don't?

What makes it vulnerable, that other operating systems avoid? (The answer may be beyond the scope of this website, but is it the science, and can it be fixed?)

Yes. The reason is because other operating systems are not rooted (i.e. access to the system files). For example, Microsoft is a single user operating system. Linux is multiuser. Linux is designed so that each user is separated from the other just like a web site won't get infected by a virus on your machine. There's a barrier there and likewise the root directory of these other operating systems are separated from the user like a web site. Linux was designed this way so that one user's work would not interfere with another. It's a very schizophrenic operating system but in this case, that's good.

Microsoft roots the user by default (i.e. admin) but even if one did not grant those permissions, such as workers limited by IT, still when anything is installed it affects the registry. The registry affects the entire system like cancer that metastasized. As long as that communal file exists, then even if one does not "download" something, the registry can still be affected and is designed so that the whole system is affected. Other operating systems do not have a registry. So you see, the viral problems on Microsoft is not because "more people use it" which when we are talking about the device world, that's untrue. It gets more because the platform is sloppy. And I had a hard time admitting this was out of design that gotten out of control. For example, there's virtually NO viruses for Android. Same with worms. On Microsoft, you have one sloppy office worker that gets malware, and if it's a worm the others get it by simply turning on their computers. I never heard that with Apple, Linux, Android or Chrome or for that matter anything else. Even if such a computer or device is infected, it's always an isolated case and does not spread, and some functionality is still there (as opposed to not being able to boot). And for sure the clean-up is far easier. The malware protection is built in by constant patches of vulnerabilities and by virtue of the way the operating system treats nefarious files. As I always jest, if operating systems were airplanes, you'd have a crash once in a blue moon like a real airplane. Yes, it can happen. But with Microsoft, every airplane will crash eventually and none make it to the junkyard. Would you board a plane knowing this? So the issue isn't "well other operating systems can get malware". The issue is a disproportionate amount Microsoft experiences to the point that it's broken more than it's fixed. Apples and Oranges.
