We are dealing with parable type information. Hidden in things that are not the ultimate reality.

Romans 3:1 kjv
1. What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
2. Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.

We are joined together into one new man. Yes. Peter went to the Jews and Paul to the gentiles. Just as the Godheah is one yet different, so the body of Christ is.

Why a southern Baptist Jew. One that read so much Old Testament scripture first , that by the time he got to the New Testament ( he was Jewish). Not belonging to any Jewish group, but in belief. Then he/me had to see Jesus as messiah. In case that is in parable form. I was born and raised in a baptist home. I became legalistic in foods, dress (no mixed thread clothing, etc.

So at 12 I repented
At 24? I accepted Jesus
At 26 ? I was filled with the Holy Spirit (while drying my hair and reading
1 Corinthians 12.)

With those Years between the steps, I can see differences others do not. I made all the common mistakes.

Heart and mind are separated yet joined.

Repent of sins shown by the law of Moses.
Fall back into same sin. Offer sacrifice.
Go around mountain in wilderness.
Sin again
Repent turn from wicked ways
Go around mountain in wilderness (years are going by). No solution for sins.

Finally I accept Jesus as the solution of the problem I found out at repentance. I wanted to spread the gospel. No power. No debts of knowledge. No wisdom.

All of a sudden this spiritual experience hits. I am excited, but tongues may get you close to talking to God, but they seperate you from others.

I prayed to interpret. Slowly questions started to have biblical answers. The problem is:

How do you speak about the things in peoples hearts. How do you say something that God wants a person to hear. How do three (?) persons align together to show God is really working.

1 Corinthians 14:25 kjv
25. And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

Am I closer than I was?

Ephesians 2:12 kjv
12. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Time to steer this back to parables.

I do human body Bible symbolism. Without Jewish (made in the image of God) I would not have a hint that imagery existed in the human body. Without hearing about the hidden man of the heart, I would not have an organ to have an example to start with.

Almost all the law of Moses is symbolic.
Food and drink - we eat his body and drink his blood. We do not live by food alone but by every word that comes from God.
Gentiles do not come equipped to know we are made in the image of God.

To a gentile something is either symbolic or real. To Jesus the concrete seed is a symbol of the Word of God. A parable is thus both a physical symbol about a spiritual reality.

The sabbath is the rest we have in Christ.
