Does it seem the End Times section is just an argument starter. :confused

Personally I just believe ...

ISAIAH 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
ISAIAH 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
:cross never lose focus.

There's a reason you never see me there :tongue Well, almost never.

I have come very close...
I am aware of my argumentive behavior though so I try to keep it in check. Funny how when you don't do something, it becomes more irritating when others do it. Yeah I think I have seen ya here and there. I do recall you not feeding the arguments.

End Times is a forum where debating is allowed. There are different views and it's an interesting topic to some. But it should ever turn snarky. :salute

I can respect a good debate. However when the same "debates" turn into what I like to call scripture nit-picking™. In the end it's all the same... That's just me though.

Over the last few years I have learned a lot over there. Things that I wasn't sure about and things I hadn't even thought about.
For me it's more like an educational tool.

Indeed, that is how its supposed to be used. Just irritating on how the educational value gets destroyed when it goes off topic... And from what I see happens frequently. I know all sections do this but, not as much.

The details can get sticky sometimes and sometimes it best just to leave a point alone. I don't like it when the same verses keep being repeated over and over, it gets boring fast. I've been working at curbing myself from doing just that. If I don't have anything new to add in scripture, then that's all I got.

I dont think its a argument starter. I just think some revelation and prophecy is/was only given to certain people to understand and not all. If something is not about me or will effect me why would god need me to understand it?. Some things he does and some things he dors not. Im not all knowing like some people think they are. The beast is here!. Look!. 666!, Earthquake!.
Na just joking.

Before moderating ... ET was my hang out.... The battles can be fun... if it is not snarky... I have learned much there...
Many of the other forums get into challenging anothers salvation.. which is ugly...
Debs level head has been a big welcome there...:)

Bashing Preterist and making them look dumb is lots of fun. Outside of that, after years of battling Pre and Post trib, it gets old after awhile hashing the same old scriptures up over and over again.

Lol, kinda surprised about that one. Although it does makes sense...

Indeed.

Hmm... Maybe improved rules? Not saying its a bad thing and I am also interested in my future. I just don't want to hear a ding on my phone for every snark/I am right and you are wrong comment.

Only if there was a filter for such things...
:chin

The filters are pronouns such as Reba, WIP, Obadiah, etc.....:biggrin2 :rollingpin

You know Jojoe. There is a level you think you know enough to jump in, then find things are on a level you know you don't have a chance.

It sort of goes something like this. someone that thinks they know a few things post, then others post. Next the guys that know both sides in and out, have discussed it for years jump in. They start pulling scripture out you never thought of. It normally ends up just 2 or 3 left of those that know tons of scriptures battling, and the guys that wanted to talk about it feel they can't really contribute as they thought they could.

Sometimes believers that don't have tons of revelation from God and have not walked with God for years want to talk and be part of the discussion. They don't know all the scriptures, and have goofy belief's but still would like to be part.

so they get to talking away and someone like me jumps in and post 3 scriptures to let them all know they are way off course. To me, that sort of ruins their fellowship taking it upon myself to go and correct everyone.

There is a reason we don't have lots and lots of new believers here, and ones that do come see they can't really participate not having really anything to bring to the table, so they come and go. In a way, Christian Forums are off limits to the new in Christ. It sort of bugs me actually as we are all so dogmatic to let people know they are wrong.

just thinking.

Yep, those are the 3 that normally rack up my points for another ban. There is a reason I joined in 2008 and only have the amount of post I have.

Once again, I can certainly agree with that. Here is the problem.

There is a proper way to debate .If one wants to learn from another should we act as the world(politicians). No, we should be one and always in agreement even if it means to disagree.

If we are wrong God will bring it to the light. If God wants to use one as a instrument to teach shouldn't it be done with Love?

To be honest with you brother...
I am a know it all that knows nothing. I love to try and win arguments, the fact that it disturbes me now days is God given. I just hope the next church I attend will consider these thoughts as well.
