Is Jesus God?

Here is what the scripture speaks to us today -

Jesus Christ is Lord.
Jesus Christ is YHWH, manifested in the flesh.
He created all things!
Jesus is God!
His is the name above all names!
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, Philippians 2:9
The Son has the same name as the Father! YHWH!
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name--the name you gave me--so that they may be one as we are one.

God does not change in his nature, he exists as one in essence and three in person. God doesn't use Jesus, he is Jesus. God doesn't just speak through the Holy Spirit, he is the Holy Spirit. They aren't masks that he puts on in order to play different roles. They have existed in loving relationship for all eternity, for this is God as he is, not as he wishes to make himself appear.

I understand what your saying. It wasn't my intention to make the trinity to sound like God is putting a on mask to play different roles. They have always existed but for us God came as Jesus so we can recognize him. Is there any scripture that tells about the trinity in heaven?

He never dies.
Yes, He is all that the Father is.
No, He has always been the Son.
Jesus is Gods firstborn and therefore is before all things visible and invisible except the Father. The firstborn of all creation as is written. Gods firstborn would be a being and such a being would state "before Abraham was born I AM"
Is Jesus an angel?
No- The fullness was pleased to dwell in Him. (given not made) And the creation was made through Him. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus and all the fullness of God dwells in Jesus in bodily form. I hold to a bodily resurrection.
How then do we baptize then? Baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. -Note the word "Son"

Hmm, this made me think of this scripture:
"24 Then the end will come when he (Jesus) hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him..." (1 Corinthians 15:24-25,28 NIV)
I remember my pastor teaching on this passage many years ago saying that Christ would become like one of us in the kingdom by surrendering his singular authority and status to become like one of us in the kingdom. Which makes sense when you consider that the scriptures teach that we will rule and reign with him in the kingdom. IOW, there will be no Christ the way we know him today. So, in answer to your question, maybe there is no need for Christ in the future kingdom of God as he is today(?)
IMO Just asking the question 'Is Jesus God" is an insult to the Lord..

I've felt the same way over the years, but was one day reminded that "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven..." (Matthew 12:32 NIV).
It seems that what we think of, and how we treat the Holy Spirit is more important than what we think of Jesus personally. I think people question his divinity out of lack of knowledge more than anything else. At least with the Holy Spirit there is no excuse for misunderstanding what he says.
