I should have been more clear No harm in asking the question ... asking the question to gain knowledge is not the same as questioning His Divinity

It's a great question and i have been a follower of the Messiah for many years but only last week discovered he is God. You will get the confirmation of it not form others but by him himself to you if you keep knocking and asking

Amen Phil! So many of every age group, today, have not established that one on one relationship with Jesus and that scares the daylights out of me. My wife and I have, over the years, felt the call of God and every time I have been called to for some mission, my wife knew it before I told her and my daughter communes with God, constantly.

Jesus taught that He will tell many that He never knew them leading me to seek a personal relationship and frightening me for those that do not.

May God bless.

You too Brother. What mission work have you done can i ask. I would like to do the same. I have a house in the Philippines and thinking or relocating out there and giving myself to work for others

Yes, i was very skeptical about thinking of having a relationship with The Messiah. Butas the years go on, i realise thats what its all about
him in us and us in him

Wow, that's very cool. I envy the atmosphere which must be in your home with such a family. God bless you all. :lol

  1. Prison Ministry for the most part but the move came about when a sister Church was about to close and needed restructuring. That call came twice before this disease put me on my back or in my chair. I can no longer carry my equipment into the Prison Units and because of the severity of my twitching I have traded my Commercial License for a state ID. Unlike some of my friends, I was not called into what I call the field, third world countries.

Me too. It's pretty rough at times. Especially when they use it against me, and hold me to biblical standards since that's who I say I am. Like there's a double standard wherein they can do as they please but I better not even say anything. That type of thing makes it hard to hold forgiveness in my heart. :wall

Im the only believer in the household here in the UK
Phil,
The people here in the U.S. have, for the greater part, never been anywhere in Europe and they have no idea of the difficulty European Christians face. When I was a professing Atheist in the early mid-sixties, I was very comfortable with the attitudes there because it seemed everyone believed as I did, even in the English Zone. The only thing the English and the young, dumb, Bill Taylor argued about was the value of the Queen.

Yeah, but we are called to witness and when you tow the line they are seeing Christ in you. When I was singing the Devil's music, I had more friends than I could ever count but the day I took Jesus for my Savior, even the men i grew up with.

Yes. I have been rejected all my life by friends family not in a nasty way but rather i have to live a life of feeling alone in the world no matter how much love i show others

The Prison ministry is a blessings for those called to do it
Most people are terrified of Cons and Excons and when one goes to the class to be able to enter here in Texas the COs tell you the most terrifying stories trying to scare you out of entering into this ministry. The result is that there are never enough people in any of the ministries. As a result they never experience the love that is exchanged between us and the cons. If we eve got one inside the walls, they were hooked and that is what happened with me.

Unfortunately some prisons over here aren't so focused on rehabilitaion and therefore Jesus isn't really welcome.

So do you mean it is OK to start a discussion "Is Jesus God?," but responders are to answer it in only one way? Shouldn't such a question not be allowed here?

Such a question certainly invites responses to both sides of the questions. This seems similar to entrapment.

I thought that "Jesus Is God" was the most clear fact in the Bible?

*Like*

Uh, yeah...

So why is it not allowed for someone to present his evidence that a certain scripture disagrees with such an obvious fact? If it so easily disproved, shouldn't it be allowed to be presented and then strongly disproved by most members here??
