Bible Study ---IT IS FINISHED!'' What is Finished??--

IT IS FINISHED!

A Rebellion in heaven. Lucifer & 1/3 of these ones were cast out to earth. But earth was not created yet! So they were in a true "bottomless pit" See Rev. 20:1-3 for the return picture of Gen. 1:1-4. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without [form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep]." (bottomless pit!)

Then we see the creation of mankind with [conditional perfect] perfection. Perfect, yet not with a perfected mature character!
God gave to man the earth to care for! There was only one place that Adam & Eve were commanded to stay away from. After Mankind were created on the sixth day, God no doubt gave them (he & Eve, his wife) their first 7th. Day Sabbath sermon, that surely included severe danger of warning, to stay away from the forbidden tree in the 'midst of the garden of EDEN'. (that of death!)

We know the rest of what happened? But what most might miss, is that at that time another STARTING point took place! From a START TO A FINISH! Again, it is Finished! This is where the 'arm of flesh' (man's foolishness) goes astray!!!
Adam lost his 'conditional' control of earth. And 's'atan & his evil angels won conditional control of such. (do not miss the word of conditional control! for both of Adam & satan! Yet, take note that Lucifer, satan, serpent, and the devil are all the same being, from heaven on! See Eze. 28 - Rev. 12)


Now notice: That in Matt. 4:8-9 we see no argument from Christ of His understanding that satan was now the ruler over 'earth', Adams past responsibility! (remember that those verses are from the Word of God!)
"Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto Him, All these things will I give thee, If thou wilt fall down and worship me."

Even from Adams fall to this time, we see in the Old Testament that God worked without the Holy Spirit being omnipresent present .(everywhere present) The Godhead had his own, going out to find the sincere! But they worked in satan's battleground of his temporary controlled world, and by being restrained of the Holy Spirits being everywhere present. The sincere were to be drawn to Christ from His place being with/in the Obedient. The Sanctuary came on the scene in time. Stephen states that this 'is He that was in the Sanctuary' See Acts 7:38.

You can be sure that the Holy Spirit would later on, at satans defeat, present Christ everywhere at once! And also, you can be sure that where Christ was at in the Old Testament, there were all the miracle's seen that were done in the New Testament.!!

One more thought. We see that until it was finished for satan, God was held too a Theocracy by His own plan, and after that it was 'finished', he gave others His power's through Caesar! (conditional of course! Freedom of religion! Rom. 13's second commandment) But Christ & His Virgin true 'fold' were to be 'conditionally responsible for all of the covenant of the Godhead! See Isa. 5:1-7.
Up until this time, and the crucifixion of Christ, satan was still (conditionally) in control of 'all the kingdoms of the world'. Christ would win back Adams domain that he lost through sin. And then satan & his angels would be in time, be destroyed! It is in this setting that the Words of Christ.. 'IT IS FINISHED' was spoken! At Christ's death, the 'Vail of the earthly temple' was 'rent from top to bottom', making the way into the Most Holy Place in heaven itself. Ratifying the Heb. 13:20 [Everlasting Covenant by Christ's Blood]! It was then consummated..FINISHED! Satan was defeated and his fate was accomplished!

But, ignorant man, and the Everlasting Gospel differ here!

The Word FINISH does not mean that the Everlasting Gospel JUDGEMENT is finished. There is still to be the Executive stage as seen in Eccl. 12:13-14, *Dan. 7:9-10's BOOKS! and Rev. 20:12's D-E-A-D judged 'by Books', (the only way that dead could stand!) and Rev.'s last few verses! Christ is still doing His High Priestly work for us and the ones still to come! This work of our [Master is not finished].. "For Christ is not entered into the Holy Place made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:.." Heb. 9:24.

Dan. 9:27 "And He shall confirm the Covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and oblation to cease..." And now the way was made into the Most Holy Place in heaven itself!

Confirm or ratify, or FINISH! When Christ died, a [number] of important things were finished. The Vail in the temple spake of this when it rent! The Lamb of God had been Eternal Covenant Ratified! Satan was seen by the Universe, and unfallen world's' and angels as [FINISHED]! Moses Deut. 31 Law was no longer needed or to be used! See Gal. 3:19.

Christ was seen as the second Adam, as being sinless. The Godhead had been found not guilty in creating mankind that were flawed. And that sin never was of their doing!

Notice Christ's Word,
"I have glorified Thee on the earth, [I HAVE FINISHED the work that Thou hast given Me to do.]" [/b]John 17:4

".. IT IS FINISHED:.." [/b]John 19:30 (Gods work!)

And the bottom line for understanding is: That Christ came to prove that the Godhead had created a 'perfect' creation from perfect Lucifer on down that need not to have 'freely' chosen to be lost! All had the same eternal tools freely supplied! Phil. 4:13 & 2 Co. 12:9. Even in heaven itself they were told the eternal truth that.. "WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING.'' John 15:5's last part of the verse. This is the 'Everlasting Gospel'! Rev. 14:6 The Godhead were on trial before the Universe as seen in the creation of man!

"Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but heareth not. (Take note!) The Lord is well pleased for His righteousness sake; [He will MAGNIFY THE LAW, and MAKE IT HONORABLE]." Isa. 42:21 This work Christ 'finished', living as truly triumphant! He lived the life that Adam could have lived, to the perfect [Mature] letter! See Nah.1:9!

Yet, never does it ever even suggest or hint that His Everlasting Covenant Moral Law was 'finished' or was done away with by God!! (satan?? Surely! + his Gen. 4:7 ones!)

God Forbid, Paul cries out! Rom. 3:31 "Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we ESTABLISH the law."
And:
"For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the [doers of the law shall be justified]." Rom. 2:13

--1000 years of What? A Rapture?? Not Really!--

Interesting that we some at least agree to some of the names of the devil in Rev. 12. Serpent for one. And Christ stated that HE beheld satan as lightening fall from heaven! Luke 10:18. But not when that was, huh? But He did say earth, right?

Yet, in Gen. 1 & 2, one sees the creation week being finished in five literal days, and then Adam & Eve created on the sixth day, then comes the 7th day Sabbath Memorial of the creation week. 'Its Birthday' See Psalms 135:13. (had to get that in there! :fadein: )[/color]Anyway, it appears that the Lords day was made for Worship! Rev. 1:10. It sure seems to me that seeing that there was a 'forbidden tree' right there in the 'Midst' of the newly created garden of God, that the 'serpent' that was allowed by God, to tempt from, (see Gen. 2:*9) and that, he must have been here before the week of creation?? Also, that this first Worship sermon that God gave his day old created ones, surely would have included this warning message in verse 16-17?? Stay away from this forbidden tree!!??

And the bottomless pit of Rev. 20:1-3?? Of course I believe that the 1000 years finds the earth desolate of even its heavens! 2 Peter 3:9-10 is very clear on that?? And Jeremiah 4:23-27 tells us the same thing! (at least me) At the presence of the Lord in verse 26's time frame. It does seem that with NO heaven, and a earth without form, AND VOID, with NO LIGHT & NO MAN, that these ones in verse 27 are somewhere else, huh? Anyway back to this VOID & EMPTY EARTH WITH NO HEAVENS & NO LIGHT!

What is there still here??? Well, lets see the history for the Sacred Word of Inspiration of this. Eccl. 1:9-10 & Eccl. 3:15, if one really believes the Word of God, that is??? (those are real question!)

OK: Gen. 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; (sounds like the above to me!) and darkness was upon the [face of the deep].

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." Interesting? Can water, or face of the deep be deep with out gravity?? And yet it was still named earth in all of these texts? Even verse 2? And verse 6, 'let there be firmament in the [midst of the waters] ? 'And let it [divide the waters from the waters]." And verse 7 might also established what the earth was like before it was created, and where the devil was cast down to & will again be 'chained in this bottomless pit again for the 1000 year period before the wicked have their resurrection to die the second death along with satan and his evil angels! Rev. 20:1-3 & then verse 7 And chapter 21 finds .. 'And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away ...' And what was it God DOCUMENTED in the Eccl.'s chapters??

That is what it means....
