Hello again all :wave .
I have been gone awhile making some major changes in how I will study in the future. I have had to completely change my study area, as I have been instructed by the Holy Spirit, that new things are coming as to how I will study. MY BRAIN IS FRIED :confusedfiguring all this out, but now I'm doing it, and my brain is fine.
God commands us to continually grow in our faith;

Hebrews 6:1-2, "Therefore leaving the elementary teachings about Christ, let us press on to maturity...!"
Ephesians 4:15, "...but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ.
1st Timothy 4:15, "Take pains with God's teachings; be absorbed in them, so that your progress may be evident to all.

I bought a new computer that is custom made for how I will study and 2 large monitors that I can use independently of each other. The new computer can handle up to 4 monitors controlled by this one computer.
Right now I can study the bible in English on one monitor and study Greek on the other monitor, having two screens, but if I want to I can split each screen into 2 screens giving me 4 screens, or split each monitor into 4 screens giving me 8 pages to study all at once.
The monitors are 32"wide x 16"tall, so my "old eyes" see everything very well with the larger sizes.
"OLD PEOPLE" need large print :hysterical.
I have a lot of other supplies I have purchased also, so I am set to go - EXCITING knowing the Holy Spirit has new plans
for me, just like the rest of you get excited. - Jer. 19: 11-14, "For I know the plans I have for you declares the LORD. Plans for good and not evil....!"

God bless you all.

Was wondering where you disappeared to.

Wow, I am excited for you on the new set up. WhooHoo let the digging begin. It's going to be like a whole new world opened up before your eyes when the Holy Spirit reveals those mysteries and gives you new insight into what has already been written.

God bless you on your new endeavor :)

Thank you for_his_glory:
I don't know what the future holds for learning, but it's already working, and I have a few huge long-term studies that will be helped immensely.
This is a whole new world for me now.

Thanks for your response. God bless.

Thank you JLB
The ability to read several pages at a time, and compare what others think side by side, or do a word study in both English and Greek or Hebrew, and compare the context meanings side by side is a whole new world of study for me, not to mention the crazy new features of this new custom built computer that has so many upgrade features, I'll spend years getting to know this new BEAST.
All these changes are a whole new level of study that I can add other devices too, as I become more familiar with all that I have.
Much of it is way over my head, but God knows I love a great challenge, and that it will be for the rest of my life now with all these changes.

Great to hear from you and be back.

I can add 2 more monitors down the road if I can find the space and figure all this out, so I am starting out slow and not overwhelming myself.
For many years I have studied sometimes 6 to 12 topics at a time that all have relevance to each other, and give me more depth of understanding and completeness of thought, for a new topic I'm developing and bringing to a new level of personal discernment.
I think I have room for one more monitor right now.
This is like a pirate's treasure that you have to dig through to find out what you have :pray?.

Even after studying God's word over 40 years, the depth of His Word will ALWAYS be far beyond me.
I have just scratched the surface after all these years.
There will always be so much I will never know, but the joy is in what new things I discover that help me grow, change, and honor God in new ways.

Sorry for being late to the party, but wow! That sounds like a nice setup!

There is so much more to learn and know in scripture than we'll never learn in bible studies, preachers' messages, or even in bible colleges. They seem to just skim the surface of the bible, the milk of the word, and never seem to ever get deeper into the "MEAT OF THE WORD", where God wants me, and all of us to be, and I want to be too.
The Christian culture to me is such a shallow experience, that barely covers the basics of our faith, let alone true and complete salvation. And there is, to me, such an ignorant and sometimes arrogant and egotistical lack of "harmony" or even true understanding of their superficial attempts at the truth.
My knowledge I'm gaining isn't twisting how I feel about the Christian culture, or causing me to be arrogant or egotistical in my new knowledge and faith.
For me, all that I mentioned above isn't just frustrating, but heartbreaking, to know so many are missing out on so much of the true Christian faith and God's complete truth, and His plan for us individually and corporately.
Think about it. Why is the bible so thick, and yet we know so little of it??
There is a depth far beyond me, but I passionately want to attack my studies with all my heart allows me, until I take my last breath, and if called too, use all I've learned for the good of others, and honor God's Holy name.

1st Cor. 10:31, '"In all that you do, do to the glory of God!!"

God bless you my brother!

I understand your passion and appreciate your zeal. If only we all had a fraction of the zeal for the Lord as you. Although I can honestly say I’m part of an amazing group. We meet in an old barn every Sunday evening. The Lord is always present and reminds me of the first century church we read about.

Your a blessing, thank you for feeding the flock.
