7 It shall be one day Which is known to the Lord-- Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light.

I don't believe God's Kindgom is here in the fullest sense, we have a sure promise and we are choosing to follow the King as we wait for the pouring down of God's full and complete blessing when Christ returns.

I'm not trying to do any teaching here, my questions are sincere to all those who wish to share their thoughts on these matters.

Is the Kingdom of Heaven (as spoken of in scripture) the same as the Kingdom of God?

If different, is the Kingdom of God a portion of the Kingdom of Heaven?

If different, how are they different?

@digging and everyone, what do you think happened here?

Mat_27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Mat_27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Where did they go after this? Were they raised in the flesh and stayed alive on the earth, like Lazarus? Or.....

Yes, that is what I posted.

Do you understand where this light will come from, since the existing lights have diminished?

Every eye will see Him.

they ascended to heaven with jesus. either that or they are still alive on the earth.

I think they went with Jesus too. But humor me, why couldn't they have lived out their lives on earth and died again, as Lazarus did?

ok. well that would men that it was after the cross thus they were glorified. I don't fully understand that verse and whom was raised but I do see it a taste of the full deal. remember lazarus still died these men were dead a lot longer and also had been raised after the cross thus immortal and beyond corruption. imho

I agree, again.

So what do you think about this?
I think it's @digging that brought up the Feasts.
If there are resurrections that coincide with the Feasts - as harvests - could you see this one being the Feast of the Unleavened Bread?
And if so The Firstfruits being those who died after the resurrection, during the early Jewish persecution of the new Church, such as Stephen, some of the apostles and disciples that were leaders? They probably would have been all Jews at that time.

Deborah13, the commentaries I have read seem to think those were saints that believed ere the cross and died soon after.

Sometimes the 'Kingdom of Heaven' can simply mean 'Kingdom where true justice rules', whereby heaven equates to perfection, instead of the convenient compromises that fall short of perfection. It is all about context.
