What can i say. All sport fanatics know who this CRAZY PLAYER is. He is the hottest thing since sliced bread!

I think he needs a cast around him to get to the level people are expecting, because the Cavs are terrible and they will likely be terrible this year too. I think he'll definitely show some flashes of his ability, but he'll struggle just like Kobe did. He'll likely start though because he is what the season ticketholders are paying to see.

I expect to see Lebron average somewhere around 18 points per game, 7 rebounds per game and six or seven assists. Could be a lot more though. This guy's the real deal, there's more to him than hype.

BTW, is anyone interested in joining my fantasy league when the season starts?

Where are you doing your league through? That would be fun. I haven't been in one of those for years.

the summer camp games are already sold out and he is averaging about

pts: 16
reb: 7
ast: 6

No he is not jordan but he is gonna come close with his skill and when he gets his robin since he is now the batman of that team.

Lebron is an amazing basketball player. He has the athleticism and skill, but what needs to be cultivated in him is the heart. Will he a uncontrolable Iverson or will he have the control of Issiah Thomas (except for that one time  )? I think (as many of you agree) he will average just below 20 points a game, 5-7 rebounds, I'm just not sure on the assists. I have seen some of the tapes from his high school games and at time he can really help himself to the ball.

I would be interested in a basketball fantasy league ....( ohh, ohh, ohh pick me, pick me Mister Cotter)

Hey all,

Just letting you know that I will be doing a fantasy league through "Yahoo!". I don't know what the name or password will be, but I'll let you know in time. I enjoy "Head-to-Head" leagues best, and an online draft.

And to clarify something - I only expect LeBron to average what I said during his rookie season. I am sure that he will improve greatly afterward, but to what degree depends on his work ethic. Can he be as good or better than Jordan? I dunno. Depends on how hard he works at it. But let's not forget the competetive drive that Jordan had...

Good call.

I've watched almost every one of his games, and this is how I see it. He needs work on the basics, ball handling, getting around picks on defense, his mechanics in shooting etc., but he hasn't even begun to show how good he is going to be. He doesn't post up yet (he can already), and he gets double teamed alot. opposing teams force him to get rid of the ball. The trade with boston helped, he just needs time now. watching basketball is fun again. With the addition of more talent and ((a true point guard (maginis?),and center)), and some time, things are going to start to open up.

I don't think he will be as good as Jordan because of the zone-D. His first step is not as fast either. maybe in time. The biggest surprise around here is Carlos Boozer, In his last two games he's scored 64 points and had 38 boards. Every one thought he was just another of those Duke players that bust in the NBA, myself included, but this guy is a solid player and then some.
