The Scripture I just quoted (Psalms 103:20) suggests to me angels are people.

You have once again misinterpreted Scripture. Can you not see it is a directive statement? Maybe you need to study English grammar. Sometimes the lack of good grammar sense can be a handicap.

Maybe a more understandable Bible translation is in order?

Psalm 103:20-22 NLT
Praise the Lord, you angels,
you mighty ones who carry out his plans
,
listening for each of his commands.
21 Yes, praise the Lord, you armies of angels
who serve him and do his will!

22 Praise the Lord, everything he has created,
everything in all his kingdom.
Let all that I am praise the Lord.

What about the resurrection? thats on the 'last day' too.

Jesus comes and raises the dead on the 'last day'.

6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth
the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will
raise him up at the last day.

6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me
draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life;
and I will raise him up at the last day.

11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the
resurrection at the last day.

Judgement is ALSO on the 'last day'.

12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that
judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him
in the last day.

4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who
shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Yes And Jesus will raise them on the last day. But that does not mean that He will not raise some saints 1000 years before the last day. As i said i am beginning to think the difference is that those who are raised from the dead 1000 years before have all been killed for their faith in Jesus or have live through the Great tribulation. I guess the early mark could be looked upon as reward for giving up ones life for the Gospels sake.

Hang on, you have 2 last day's? The 2nd advent of Jesus is on the last day. Which is the time of the ressurection. So is the judgement on the last day. The thousand year gap doesnt work bud. You cant have two last days.

Well i have the Day of the Lord. And 1000 years later the Last Day.

The day of the Lord is the Day of the second comming of the Messiah Jesus as far as i know bro.

So all the scripture I posted regarding the 'last day' your saying each of those is after a thousand year Earthly reign of Jesus from Jerusalem? And AFTER that everyone is judged at the White Throne?

So we're not ressurected at His COMING? And Judgement is not at His coming? Or is there 2 ressurection of the saints and 2 judgements....one before and one after the 'millenium'?

This is well confusing. :lol

There is definitely a resurrection at his second coming. And those resurrected will never die again. I just believe that The resurrection at His second coming is limited to those who where killed because of their belief in Jesus. It is not really confusing when you read the Chapters 19 and 20 of Revelation. The limited resurrection of His second coming does not make the scriptures you have posted a lie or a contradiction. They are pointing to all who have believed and trusted in the atonement of Jesus. And they will be raised on the last day.

But i believe the ones who take part in the first resurrection (and it is called the first resurrection in revelation, so there has got to be two distinct and separate resurrections) Are those who have been killed for their witness to Jesus or have lived through the great tribulation and remained true to the Word of God. All the people mentioned in the following scripture under the altar in Heaven have been killed for their witness to Jesus.

Revelation 6
9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?†11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

So all the people under this Altar who received a white robe where killed.

Note what it says about the return of the Messiah on the Day of the Lord.

Revelation 19
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.

Looks like those under the altar who died for believing Jesus will have front row seats when He pours out His wrath on those who have killed the saints.

Is judgement of the living and the dead at the 2nd advent or is it a thousand years later?

I would like to know how everyone interprets John 14:1-4 in regards to this discussion "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know"

Jesus here was talking to his 12 and making THEM a promise much like he did in Luke 22 where he said the following:

28 ‘You’re those who stayed with me through my trials,
29 So I’m making this promise to you,
As my Father made a promise to me for a Kingdom:
30 In my Kingdom, you’ll eat and drink at my table
And upon thrones you will sit,
To judge IsraEl’s twelve tribes.

The words of scripture should always be viewed based on the context, the speaker, his audience, and the historical setting. In the John 14 text, Jesus is taking to his 12 about a destiny he prepared for the 11 who would "stick with him through his trials."

What He said to His followers, He says to us, His followers generations down the line.

So Truth and Alabaster or anyone else, where do you feel "my Father`s house" is? And do you believe Jesus is preparing a literal mansion?

As far as i know the final judgement will be 1000 years later. But for the beast and the false prophet judgement will be immediate upon the second coming. Both are cast into the Lake of Fire on that day and they are shown to still be there 1000 years later, satan however is not cast into the lake of fire at that time but is cast into the bottomless pit and bound for 1000 years. Only after the 1000 years after the final rebellion will satan himself is cast into the lake of fire. But it says that all those with them (at the battle of Ammagedon) where killed with the sword but it does not say they where cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 19
20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

The place Jesus is preparing for them is the New Jerusalem described in Revelation 21.

Right now, Jesus is in what is known as the Third Heaven. Yes, Jesus is preparing for us custom-built mansions that are suited to our specific likes, to bless us, because of His great love for us personally.
