Wisdom, knowledge. Whudeverrrrr. Same diffy. I know why am asking and have every right to ask. We need not to add to God’s word. God NEVER said not to ask questions and God never told us to assume the answer is hidden. Show me where it says that because I already know that God would never tell ya to make assumptions without wisdom. Don’t ever tell me I have no business asking questions. There’s no reason to feel inadequate just because you don’t know the answer. Just because you don’t have the answer doesn’t mean another human doesn’t. (Sassy me)
Well I never actually said you should never ask questions, in fact I said you should. The reason God does things the way He does is because He WANTS to.

Can you define the difference for us, Thank you.
Knowledge is the acquisition of information, facts and skills. Wisdom is using this knowledge to make sound judgements, wise decisions. Proverbs chapters 1-9 cover wisdom and knowledge in the best way I have ever heard, replete with examples!

david was willing to murder the husband of a woman he slept with - 2 Samuel 11:14-17 - but the good thing God said about david is what counts - Acts 13:22

abraham allowed a king to think his wife was his sister and let the king take his wife into his harem as a wife - Genesis 20:2-3

there is no one perfect so God makes His choices from imperfect options

we certainly don't deserve to be saved and redeemed - God's mercy overrides His judgement - James 2:13
better yet why did he allow a harolt to help bring in the christ seed?

also notice the dsciples/apostles - they weren't the cream of the crop either

imo it's because none of us are perfect and God proves His power works even through messed up humans
bingo 2nd corinthians 5:21
Hebrews 4:15

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

God looks at the heart of a man, and we see in chapter 37 that Judah is a leader in tough times. He is a man of action to preserve life. This same instinct is kicking in with his last son, but as you started, it doesn't make it right.

When the truth comes out about Tamar, he doesn't shift blame but rather he takes accountability.
Definitely very clear to me now. Thank you!

Thank you for clarifying that.

Why did God choose to have Jesus born from the line of Judah? Judah was the son of Leah who Laban tricked Jacob into marrying. Jacob didn’t love her. He loved Rachael. Leah became Jacob’s wife through deceit. I don’t like Laban. He made his daughter marry a man that would never love her.
The short answer is, everything happens for a reason.
