It was nothing against you.
I just thought it was funny how for_his_glory was talking about not judging a book by it's cover and then I post the cover of a book with your avatar picture on it.

No offense intended.
Are we cool?

Btw, I forgot to ask you,.. was that photoshopped or is that guy actually on a cover of a book?

It's an actual book.

It's an actual book.

I agree, it's hilarious.
Not because I'm some kind of comic genius.
I just happened to have found his avatar on line a couple of weeks ago, and then when for_his_glory was talking about not judging a book by it's cover in his thread it just kind of came together. I thought he'd get a kick out of it too. I guess you just can't make assumptions about people you just met.

Yeah, but I apologize if this truly upset humble soul as that wasn't my intention and we weren't laughing at him we were laughing about the picture. :lol

I wouldn't go to the trouble of researching someone's avatar. To get some dirt on them. That's kind of sinister and obsessive to my mind.
Which just confirms what I said earlier. You can't make assumptions about others. Especially their sense of humour.

So I guess we're not okay, right? :neutral

I've noticed that I tend to make assumptions about people in the workplace.
Example...I can be very friendly and familiar with new bosses. I tend to joke with them too soon. Thus they seem to get a bad impression. That I am not a serious worker. Which I am.
So in this case I assume that bosses like jokes. With colleagues too.
I assume they have the same sense of humour too.
Humble....don't make any assumptions with anyone. Just be literal and serious with everyone.
It all depends on the way you come across.
