Rev 11 This temple is not a literal temple that John is to measure as there never will be a third one built as the temple mount will never be given back to the Jews and here is the reason why. Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times all because Israel never repented of their sin of idolatry when they were allowed back into their land again in 538 BC after their seventy year Babylonian exile and the land fell under the leader of the Roman Empire that still has diplomatic ties with Jerusalem today.

When the second temple was destroyed in 70 A.D. by the Romans other Roman temples were built there and destroyed during various revolts up to the fourth century. From the fourth century the temple mount laid undeveloped until the Muslim Siege of Jerusalem in 637 CE. Between 689-691 CE the Muslims built the Dome of the Rock which stands today, but now under renovations that have to do with the prophecy of the son of perdition in 2 Thessalonians 2:2-4 and the great falling away before the return of Jesus.

John was to measure the Spiritual temple of God as being those who are truly in Christ through the Spiritual rebirth that worship Him in all truths, John 3:3-7, which make up the temple of God as being the body of Christ. The symbolic here represents God separating and protecting His people. The temple of God is no longer made by hand since the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom, Matthew 27:50, 51; Acts 7:48-51. The temple of God is within man that has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that keeps himself undefiled before the Lord, Matthew 27:51; Mark 7:15-23; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17.

The outer court represents that of the control the Gentiles will once again have over the Holy city as they take full control over Jerusalem and trampled it for the last three and a half years of the seven years tribulation period. The first three and a half years begin with the opening of the seventh seal and the last three and a half beginning with the seventh trumpet as this explains the seven year tribulation that Jesus mentions in Matthew 24:21 as being the worst tribulation there has ever been nor will ever be again.

the reason the Jews will once again hold the Temple Mount will be the false prophet and anti-Christ. To fulfill the prophet Malachi’s prophecy of the Prophet Elijah preparing the way for what they believe is the Messiah. The false prophet we are told is at work in the world denying the Christ. Like the Holy Spirit we see the fruit of what he does denying the Christ and preparing the way of the evil one. We are told the false prophet does many signs and wonders but there is only one identified “bringing fire down from heaven.” Elijah did that and when this fals prophet does it only a faithful remnant will not believe this is what it appears to be. The Lord told us that He saw Satan fall like lightening from the sky. This will be the form anti-Christ will come in a imitation of the Shekinah Glory. There will be no doubt in anyone other than the faithful remnant that does not believe this great delusion.

I agree with most of what you say here, but what will be the purpose of building another Temple made by hands as Jesus said "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16. What sacrifices could the Jews possibly make as Jesus was made the final sacrifice for all who will believe in Him by faith through God's grace.

I'm not going to say who the son of perdition is who is the beast out of the earth in Rev 13, but think about who it has always been that have persecuted God's even unto the martyr's death. Daniel prophesied of the son of perdition in Daniel 7 being the succession of the four Empires as the last one still exist today since it's deadly wound was healed in 1929.

What sacrifices could the Jews possibly make as Jesus was made the final sacrifice for all who will believe in Him by faith through God's grace. you are correct in saying what you are about God and our being the temple but we are talking about the temple anti-Christ will claim as his when he claims to be God. The reason a physical temple will be needed and built is apostate Israel still look for their Messiah having rejected the Lord Jesus.

The prophecy of the Gentiles being judged after Israel has just came true. At the same time the remnant of the Jews was saved before the remnant of Gentiles was by a thousand years. With Satan, anti-Christ and the false prophet are all thrown in the LOF the Great White Throne Judgment takes place and all men not written in the Book of Life are also thrown in the Lake forever.

there is a Day of the Lord that happens in what is known to us as the Tribulation but is known in O.T. As The Time of Jacob’s Trouble . This ends the seven year period from the coming of anti-Christ and the coming of the Lord. Then a thousand years later comes The Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord which is the tribulation that’s is unlike anything done or to be done. Joel speaks of this time and this is the time of the Gentiles and if the Lord had not cut these days short no one would survive.

I don't think a 3rd material temple has anything to do with anything. Jesus said about the temple that was already standing. There is nothing about another temple Jesus or others talk about except the kingdom of God is within you, you are the temple, and the temple dwells within you, that I'm guessing is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God.

Only Paul about the man of sin sitting in the temple when he also claims people are the temple, the temple in revelation that was measured, and the kingdom that has no temple because God is the temple. That is spiritually speaking.

How.on earth with no facts or scientific proof did Christians come up with the belief that revelations was written sometime after 70ce.

The book was written about 95 AD. The date is suggested by clues in the visions pointing to the reign of the emperor Domitian.

Even if there is a 3rd temple it cannot be the "temple of God". Christ said the temple would be destroyed then rebuilt 3 days later, and that happened to his body. The body of Christ is the Church, which is also recorded by Paul which was in my previous post.
