I love the flavor of Habenero peppers, but I can't deal with the heat. I got some supposedly mild Habenero seeds. They didn't grow all that well, but I got one plant to produce a good number of them. They are very mild, hardly hot at all, but they do have very good flavor. I made a barbecue sauce with them, which is very good. My wife likes sweet barbecue, so this is a modification of a traditional sweet sauce.

1 cup dark brown sugar
2/3 cup honey
2 cups catsup
2/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp ground mustard
1 tbs salt
10 small mild Habenero peppers
1/3 poblano pepper
Blend vinegar, salt, mustard, onion, garlic, and seeded peppers in a food processor.
Strain blended liquid into saucepan.
Add catsup, and remaining ingredients.
Cook on low heat for 25 min.
