"young beautiful woman murdered"
As if those adjectives are the most important??
What about...
"Old ugly man murdered"..
Who cares right? Is that such a tragedy? He was old. He was gonna die soon anyway. And his appearance was almost grotesque.
What about this ....
" Grumpy old man murdered"...
That might attract cheering. Reason for celebration......I don't mean me by the way. ?

But of course it's a tragedy when a young person gets murdered. And when it's a young woman or even a child, it sickens us.
Young women are often at the mercy of sex obsessed men. Victims. Young men can be slaves to their own desires. Then women are the collateral damage.
I think my point is we should be shocked at anyone being murdered. Life is sacred. Whether we are young or old. Beautiful or ugly. Rich or poor. Nice or grumpy.
"Should" being the operative word.

This is the third podiatrist I've been to. Since my feet have reached a chronic stage, I'm starting to get jaded by listening to them. This last one had a distinct business mode about it. The visit was supposed to be free but she charged me 40 bucks for one ankle compression socks and a couple heel raisers. The raisers I received free from physios before .
She said I might have to get surgery to remove plantar fibromas. I've researched since then, and some say it is only 50 % successful and there are some risks.
Anyway I might go down the cortisone injection path this year. I've heard it is one of the most painful injections you can get.
My expectation of medical professionals might be too high. This woman didn't even touch my feet. And just scanned my X ray reports.
You have to search hard for the best professional. Or pay more perhaps. I want some decent care. These people I've seen are just in it for the money. They don't like complex. They prefer simple problems. Complex is too time consuming for them. Doesn't fit their business model.

Kierkegaard can be frustrating to read and understand. I couldn't survive without a commentary. But he is so interesting it's worth the effort.
He seems to say this ;
We Christians need to find out what kind of person God wants us to be. It mightn't be to our liking. But also it will be different to the cliched idea we have in our heads of what a "model Christian" is. We are all different kinds of Christians because to some extent we need to stay true to our personslity.thats ok. We don't need to become cookie cutter Christians. All the same. We are all unique.
I think God wants me to have more confidence. But a respectful confidence. He doesn't want me to be a doormat. He wants me to stand up for what I think is right. In this regard, if I stay close to Him, he will send the grace needed to communicate in the right way.
He wants me to be happy but he wants also to understand others pain. So there will be some necessary suffering. That will be part of my learning curve.

Ok if the truth be told, I am watching too many crime documentaries. Serial killers in particular. Empathise with victims or is that sympathise...," Thank God it wasn't me"
You've gotta feel sorry for people being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It's fascinating but wicked at the same time.
I've read somewhere that if you watch too many crime shows, you start to think it's not safe to leave home. And you become suspicious of "charming" types. I've never trusted charming types anyway.

I have some kind of sympathy with both beautiful people and also not so beautiful people. They both have their trials.

I've been unable to get adequate medical care since being on disability. I finally was able to get a blood test here in Hawai'i. It showed I was 1 value into Type 2 Diabetes and couple of points into Stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease. This was enough for me to go on and do massive research. I believe my tests were tampered with and that in reality I am well into Type2 And am actually in Stage3 CKD. My favorite Youtube doctor is DR Eric Berg. I've learned so much about diet and Blood chemistry imbalance. Too much calcium can be easily reversed with magnesium supplements and reverse many inflammations. Liver test can uncover Gout which many times reveals itself in the feet. To much calcium can manifest itself in heel spurs etc. Research like crazy. I've reversed so much inflammation through diet and supplements.

You are right. And I need to shed at least 10 kg. So I can't blame my doctors for me being overweight.
I lost 40lbs following his recommendations. The swelling in my feet greatly reduced. The foot itching vastly reduced. I'm able to control my blood pressure using half the drugs as before. Joint pain dropped way off. Keto diet...I am now a big believer. I fast 18 hours a day now. Never thought I'd EVER be able to say that I could go that long without eating. Another doctor is Dr Ken D Berry. He is good too. I need to lose another 70 lbs. The key is look for any symptoms below the knee. I had the shiny skin, hair loss, foot swelling, itchy feet, very sore Gout in toes, numbness in feet.,,,, I ignored it all til blood test.

I have gout too. I take daily medicine for it. It hasn't been a problem since taking the medicine. Apparently I have to keep taking it..... forever...

God is not moulding us to have `one size fits all personality'. Our personality sometimes reflects what God is preparing us for. Jesus had his own personality, which some Christians nowadays may not agree with some of the things he said to Pharisees. We are all unique (as you said) and God deals with us as individuals. Soldiers are trained for frontline warfare. Citizens do not necessarily go through the same tough training. Some Christians have more responsibility than others. Remember the distribution of talents in Matthew 25:14-17. This is one of the main reasons why I should never judge a Christian on what they say and do, just because I will say or act as they did. To God, it may be what the Spirit of God wants them to do and say at that time.
