Jesus had his own personality, which some Christians nowadays may not agree with some of the things he said to Pharisees. We are all unique (as you said) and God deals with us as individuals. Just a minor correction in my last but one sentence above, in case you did not notice. I meant: This is one of the main reasons why I should never judge a Christian on what they say and do, just because I will NOT (omitted from original) say or act as they did.
 
This is not the elephant the room. This is the former elephant ? n the room. Who thinks he is still the elephant. And incites violence. We need to talk about this don't we ? He proves time and again his ego is the only thing that matters. He will go to any lengths to protect that fragile ego. He doesn't care about the mayhem. He loves it. As long as it makes him look cool.
It is time for Christians to wake up and distance themselves from this monster.
 
Younger self to fiance ;
" You sure you know what you are getting into? I don't think I can be a reliable breadwinner. I'm not sure I have the capacity to be a good role model to kids we might have. I am high anxiety. I stress out easily. I'm immature. You are taking a big risk."
But actually I was blind to all that at the time. I was full of youthful good intentions. High hopes perhaps. I didn't know my own weaknesses well enough. I was full of delusional optimism.

Fake news . It's unbelievable. Unbelievable how much fake news there is. From both sides. Truth is we don't know the truth.
People say they want to know the truth. But do they? Or as long as it reinforces their current view. Do people really want to change their current view? I'm not sure they do. It just gets down to "I toldya so. NyaNya nya nya"
How flexible are we now? Who wants to admit they may hold views that are based on part fiction?

We must pull ever closer to our Lord as the seeds of confusion/division/doubt are sown among the people. We seek wisdom and knowledge before we take action. The Lord is giving me a hard lesson in patience as we wait upon Him.
 
You really were interested in the truth once. You had an open mind.
But after you think you found the truth, you stopped searching. So you closed your mind.
And anyone who disagreed with you must have the opposite of the truth. You could see no goodness in anything they said. You actually felt sorry for them.
Now you use "the truth you hold to be unequivocally true" as a weapon. A sword. To cut down those who dare criticise your beliefs. Your beliefs are sacred.

Well I did kind of agree with you at one point. I couldn't understand why people were suggesting his tweets be banned.
But I've changed my mind on that.
If you or I make some strong opinions on twitter " oh who cares just another anonymous troll".
But if you are a famous person using your real name, you have more responsibility. You can influence many people.
Trump has incited people to protest. He is part of the problem in America. Not the solution. What he says matters because he has power...for a few more days....

Do you remember the Aussie extremist who killed all those Muslims in NZ? He live streamed on Facebook. You think he should be given freedom of speech there?

But don't you think it's important HOW they express their view?
If their words are encouraging violence, you think that's ok?

Ok well let's take a look at the actual statements Trump made on Facebook that were banned. Were they peaceful? Some say he sends mixed messages that partly encourage his supporters to continue protesting ....
