As new moderator for the Teens forum, I thought it appropriate that I ask why is there little activity in the Teens forum? I think it is important to have a younger presence on this forum, expecially as the older users start leaving, and everyone gets older. So to keep the forums going as good or even better as they now are, I think it is good to have some younger activity on the forums!
I'm not completely sure why so few teens are active, but maybe it's the culture, maybe it's the 'uncool' thing to do. But as Christians we are to remember that in this world we never belong, and that we are to be standing out from the crowd of this world, and be salty in Christ! (as said in Matthew and 1 Peter).

So could I ask that people try to invite more teens to the forums and if a new teen does come on, make him/her feel welcome and wanted. (keep checking the New Member forum)

I appreciate your efforts, and feel free to get some more teen action going!

Yes, thankyou. If you know of anyone who is young and might like to come on here, just invite them. As I said, I think a younger precesne is good for everyone.

Only bad side effect of that is that it can make people feel old. I recently posted my age in the men's locker room, and someone said I made them feel old! :biggrin

I do get what your saying. I wish there was more teen activity also. One because I would like some friends around my age and Two like you said we need to stand out from the crowd. We need to do the right thing.

Ya, I think having a more active Teen forum would be nice. I'll do my part :biggrin.
Thanks!

It seems as though the teen activity comes and goes. Some days or weeks it will be the most active part of the site, but other times it can go for a whole month and there be no activity at all. It's strange, but it seems to be the teenage way.

Young people these days!
