So, me and my mother have been through a lot together. She hasn't been the perfect mother but, she is a wonderful one. She has been on a struggle with her own mother for as long as I can remember. I have two sisters that live with my grandmother because she chose money over family. She has claimed my sisters as mentally challenged since they have been under her care. THIS IS NOT TRUE.

She does this simply to get government assistance. Spite all that my sister is graduating highschool and its coming up soon. Yesterday I get a call from her saying she bought my ticket to go. She was also going to get one for our mom but, told me my uncle(local pastor) said he wouldn't go if my mother attended as the rest of the family did. This is criminal, Sinful even....

My mom has had a lot of problems but to keep her from seeing her daughter graduate is just... It puts so much hate in my heart. I have faith that God will grant her access to the the first of her children to graduate. I didn't and regret not doing so.

My prayer request is quite deep. I pray for not only my mother to be able to go to said graduation but, also for the heart of my grandma and uncle. Two who claim the anointing of Jesus Christ and still condemn my mother just because her past life was that of a drug addict.

Thank you and God Bless for reading this.

This situation is intense. Praying for you and your family, that God's Will be done in your life and the lives of your loved ones, too. In my (very limited experience), God's Will is better than anything any of us can come up with.

Dear Father, You can do all and above all we ask. and I am asking for healing in this dear family. Please remove the hurt of the past, and somehow give them a new beginning that will glorify You. I do know there is nothing we ask that will be denied lest it not be Your will. Bless them as only You can, and I ask this in the precious name of Jesus.
Dear Brother JoJoe, you have presented your case including the hurt you feel, and if I were you I would humbly approach that pastor and grandmother. I applaud the effort of your sister in attaining completion of such a goal in her life.
God bless you in Jesus. :wave2

Jojoe, that was quite moving and hits home for me. The pain and other emotions that come with your situation is not easy. I wont pretend to know the Will of God as far as your mother going to see her daughter graduate but I will trust that God sees all, and knows all.

Heavenly Father, who art in Heaven. Look upon us Lord and have mercy. We humbly come before You already knowing that You have examined our hearts and mind. God I am interceding for my dear brother Jojoe. God, You said to ask in Your Son's name anything and it shall be done according to Your perfect Will. God I ask you look into the matters of Jojoe's grandmother and uncle, move on them Lord. Touch their hearts and minds so that they may feel the compassion that You have shown us. Let them feel how Jesus felt looking upon the lost and afflicted. God, not only them Lord but Jojoe's mother also. Whatever the need be, accomplish it in Jesus name! For Your glory God, for Your glory do a mighty work in the entire family's life. You are the one and only true God and You are our everything! We thank You and will continue to exalt Your Holy name. All things we ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Believe Jojoe, believe with me. Do not waver and be still and know that God is God!

It really has been in my heart to talk to both of them. The judgement I receive from them at times is overwhelming. I know the spirit is telling me to do so; I personally think that I am not prepared or even humble enough for it. I will go forth in faith that it will be for the best... A great test that's going to be.

Thank you brother, my faith grows even stronger with this post. I have the strength to approach my uncle with love. My grandmother will be the hardest.

Brother Rob thank you for the unconditional love you have shown me since I joined. I feel your prayers in spirit and be blessed for your good works.

Prayers for you and your family, JoJoe . There's nothing quite family dynamics to create turmoil and havoc.
It's certainly been a hard pill to swallow. We used to be a close family, I am blessed and wouldn't be alive without them. Even when in the eye of the storm.
Thank you.

Thank you all for the prayers on this matter. Things worked out in the end and as it turns out when I saw my uncle and my grandma I just couldn't let anything out. My mom attended even though it was from outside the gates. I had a ticket but, stayed by her side.

When I saw them they looked very sad and unhappy, even though it was a graduation. So instead I prayed. Turns out my uncle lost his church, so I can assume God is dealing with all the issues. At first I was happy, then I realized I should comfort him and maybe we could finally respect each other as one body in Christ.

Lol old prayer request just thought I should let everyone know it worked out.

For our God does work in mysterious ways, ways we don't always comprehend. Your attitude is one with compassion. It's difficult but choosing to support rather than the "aha good for you" attitude is a great testament to God's love showing thru your life. God certainly is watching, keep your mother and other relatives before God in prayer and in due season, watch our mighty God do a work in their lives! Take care brother.
