Not sure whether or not this goes against the rules or not but I'm seriously hoping it doesn't because I owe everybody here a HUGE apology for the way I've been acting. Especially StoveBolts. I am truly sorry for getting involved with situations that I shouldn't have gotten involved in the first place and all of this has gotten extremely out of hand.

Everybody is angry with and fighting with everybody and some people in particular (not naming names) have been acting like animals and this isn't the way that Christians should act. So I've already repented and asked God to forgive me, so now I'm hoping and praying that you will all do the same and we can all be friends again.

We never stopped being friends, not from this side anyway. Just because we have a disagreement does not mean we are not friends. We all love you and we don't want to see you this way.

Awww,.. WIP,.. that's the sweetest thing you ever said to me. I'm seriously am tearing up right now. :') Thank you so much. :hug

I make at least one mistake a day that needs forgiveness. I have a temper which I have asked God to remove to no avail. Out of the blue I can be mean and then I regret it. When I am rejected I turn into another person I don't like. I have made a lot of mistakes on this board and I apologize. Before I found Jesus Christ and the church all I had were the 12 steps of recovery. Number 10 says that the end of each day I should look at what I did wrong and what I did right. Then I am to release it to God. This is the hard part. I love God so much that I am ashamed when I do not do right. God has told me more than once that I am harder on myself than I should be. As SteveBolts explained to me we do not have to be perfect, we just have to keep trying to get closer and closer. HR: you have the most enthusiastic personality on the board. It hurts us to see you sad. Snap out of it.

The power to stop is there for you already. What God is doing is letting you suffer the consequences of your temper so you'll learn that choosing his way is better than choosing your way. He's changing your mind about your sin, not taking away the opportunities to walk in it. Former rage-aholic talking here. I've got the T-shirt on this one. Take heart. You will win. You have been predestined in Christ to be conformed to the image of Christ.

I see you've earned that wisdom too!

Everybody is angry and fighting with everybody???
Who???
Just tell me who.
I'll take care of them.
Who do they think they are.
Coming here onto this forum to fight and carry on.
Just give me the names.
Jethro, Rollo, Arnold Schwartzenneger and I will take care of them.
No problemo.....
We're ready to go...

We have all had lessons learned the hard way and I'm sure many more to come, but as long as we are growing the lesser the hard lessons will become. All is forgiven and now time to move on to greener pastures and better fellowship.

I do love you little sis :)

No story of forgiveness equals the one in Les Miserables, imo.
I am reminded of it , by reading this thread. Stove Bolts as the kindly Bishop and HR as Jean Valjean? ?

Please explain for us that have no idea what your referencing.
Thanks!
Sorry I thought the story of Les Miserables by Victor Hugo was well known.
I will fill in more detail later. But there is a famous scene when a Bishop protects the fallen hero in the story from being arrested. Such is the feeling of relief for being forgiven, the guy transforms his life from petty thief to a pillar of society. ...more later..

Wow, I've heard the name of the show, bit that's when my knowledge of the show ends. Tell me more, maybe I'll see if it's on Netflix or Amazon
