See the thing is that I really don't know when I was saved, I just know that I am saved now. I was raised in the church, my parents took me to pray the sinner's prayer when I was six because I guess that's how they thought you were saved. But I can't remember a time where I didn't believe in God or believe that Jesus was my Lord and Savior.

I didn't really come to God and actively try to pursue Him and have fellowship with Him until I was 12. That's when I started reading The BIble and praying and everything. It was a very amazing experience because the only Bible verse I had known up until then was John 3:16. Reading the Bible for the first time is a fond memory of mine.

I joined these forums when I was 13 and continued to have a great relationship with God. But when I was 14 I came down horribly, I fell into lots of sin and basically had no fellowship with God throughout the year. When I was around 15 1/2, God really started to reveal my sin to me and I slowly but surely with help from the Holy Spirit repented of it. I'm now 16 and think I have a pretty good relationship with God. I struggle with sin and wrestle with desires to go back to my old life, but every time I've fallen I always turned back to God because He is truly what I want.

So that's it really, I don't know when I was truly saved. It was either when I was six, twelve, or just a few months ago really. But I guess it doesn't really matter, I know that I'm saved, that I have a relationship with God.

God Bless,

Hey Brock! Keep up the good work for the Lord! You are doing well by sticking with Him! The better you can do for Him the greater your rewards will be in the afterlife! Things can get really tough in life sometimes, but just remember Jesus always, and resist temptation to sin as much as possible. If you are confused about what to do just pray and listen and wait patiently for His voice to guide you. If you are there for Him, He will be there for you, trust me. :) Make sure to spread the good word about Him to people! That is what He needs us to do most for Him. The more people you can bring to the truth about Jesus the more rewards you will receive from Him. I have had a vision where you thanked me for these kind words and I remember you said I would remember your name "Brock" because it is like that guy from pokemon! haha! -I hope to see you in the deep-future of Jesus's/God's Kingdoms!

All I can say is when I was 16 I didnt have a clue. About anything. I was too focussed on getting ready for the next football match.i loved football and dreamed of beautiful football plays with me as the playmaker. God remained a distant figure. A relationship I was postponing without knowing.

Thanks for sharing your testimony Brock. You're fighting a good flight. One of the great thing's I love about you is your honesty.
God Bless you

The more I look back on it the more I see how gracious and merciful He has been with me. I've messed up A LOT, but God has always taken me back. Not that He ever let me go or anything, I just lost fellowship with Him. I think God is always active in our lives, even during the times when we are rebellious.

God Bless :)
