Some, maybe all of you, know the error called Replacement Theology where Israel is removed and replaced by the church. What we seem to have overlooked is Replacement Prophecy where the same types of things have taken place. I differ in my understanding of prophecy mostly in the details. But I also differ on some basic claims of the Revelation. Most people believe mystery Babylon is an apostate church, with the RCC favored by most people. I believe it is apostate Jerusalem. I believe Satan is a trinity of evil that counterfeits and opposes the Holy Trinity.other folks believe there is Satan and two possessed by Satan beings known as anti-Christ and the False prophet. I believe anti-Christ like the Christ he mimics is raised up in the Land, Israel, while others believe the anti-Christ will come from Russia the E.U. Os maybe Brooklyn. My attempt at humor with Brooklyn. Anyhow these are some of the things I see differently than the teachings we have on these subjects.

Some of the things completely missing I make the case or. One of my biggest peeves is the Lord’s words being discarded. The Lord said the Last Days would be like in the Days of Noah. When angels abandoned their rightful place and be locked up until the time of judgment. The Revelation is being fulfilled the fallen angels come and immediately never heard of again, why? When anti-Christ comes out of the Bottomless pit (Rev. 9) and the angels under the Euphrates are released and into thin air they disappear. Where do they go? Why do they make a cameo walk on? This is the army shown in Joel that is the utter terror of the world and eventually is destroyed at the return of the Lord

i believe there are two Days of the Lord. One Day happens seven years into the End Times and is The Day of the Lord. This day is the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus and fulfills Scriptures promise of judgment first to the Jew and then to the Gentile. Then there is an interval of a thousand years and Satan is once again loosed to deceive the Gentile nations and this is ended by what is called The Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord. You will be tempted to say semantics of the same title. But read the description each days is assigned and you will see they must be different from each other. One is day of twilight while the other is darkness to the extreme. This is the judgment pouring out on the Gentile nations. Of course salvation is meant to happen in the same order and their is a faithful remnant saved out of Israel and millennium later one is saved from the Gentiles. With yours and the sites indulgence I would like to offer my view of the time that is even now rushing on us, the End Times. Thanks

What does the open door in heaven (Re. 4 )teach us?

this represents someone rather than something. There is only one way to enter heaven and that is through the one and only Door Jesus Christ. This also represents the return of the Bridegroom having come for His Bride. His sheep hear His voice and respond. Inthe twinkling we will be with Him. His Bride who has been His before the Tribulation will not see wrath. How can we be sure?

we are told here in chapter 4 that things in the rest of the Book happen when?

“After these things.’ After the removal of His Bride and not before she is gone are those judgments allowed to fall on men.

in these early chapters we will only look at some of their teaching but it will not compromise the chapter.

Everyone is allowed to offer up their views, but we also ask you give us your sources, especially when referring to scripture you are using at it helps with the discussions. Now I will give my reply.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:37 mentions nothing about any angels, but that like in the days of Noah people will be doing the same thing as they will not know when Christ (flood) will come and it will be to late for them to be saved.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Rev 9:1-3 the star John saw that fell from heaven was an angel as angels are sometimes called stars in scripture. This angel having the key to open the bottomless pit could be Apollyon (destroyer) we read about in Revelation 20:1-3 that God gives the key to that opens the bottomless pit Satan and his angels will be cast into. When the bottomless pit was opened locust came up out of it. In reference to a smoke these locust would be to numerous to number, Judges 7:12, and look like dark smoke as they rise and swarm if you saw them from a distance. Once they became closer to your vision you would see that it wasn’t smoke, but a hoard of locust. Their attributes of what God is purposing them for is what gives them their power to sting as in tormenting those who have not the seal of God on them. They are compared as scorpions that literally sting using the power of their tails as they raise them above their head.

The Lord's day being the day of the Lord is a day of Gods great wrath being poured out on those who refuse to repent. It is always pointed out as the day at hand meaning in Gods timing in Rev 1:10. The phrase "the day of the Lord" is used nineteen times in the Old Testament (Isaiah 2:12; 13:6, 9; Ezekiel 13:5, 30:3; Joel 1:15, 2:1,11,31; 3:14; Amos 5:18,20; Obadiah 15; Zephaniah 1:7,14; Zechariah 14:1; Malachi. 4:5) and five times in the New Testament (Acts 2:20; 1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:2; 2 Peter 3:10; Rev 1:10). It is also alluded to in other passages like Revelation 6:17; 16:14.

The Lord's day only appears once in scripture in Rev 1:10. It gives no reference to what day of the week it was as every day is the Lord's day, but more specific is also referred to the Sabbath day beginning Friday at sunset to Saturday at sunset.

John was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, but yet in his physical body when he received from the angel Jesus sent to him all these revelations that he wrote down. Throughout scripture the Lord's day is usually referred to as the Sabbath being the seventh day of the week, Genesis 2:1-3 a day of rest.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

In 2 Peter 3:1-10 Peter is not talking about six days of creation with the seven day as a sabbath. The full context is Peter addressing the mockers about the return of Christ, 2 Peter 3:1-7. Peter is actually quoting Psalms 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. This also parallels with Psalms 63:6 and Psalms 119:148 that speak of night watches that we read in 2 Peter 3:10 that Jesus will come as a thief in the night and that we just need to be ready as we watch for His return, Matthew 24:43; 1 Thessalonians 5:2.

Vs. 8-10 Peter gives the manifestation of the day of the Lord and if you take notice of the "is" and "as" in vs. 8 they are a figure of speech or a simile as being like a thousand years, but yet God's timing, not our timing. It's also like "a twinkling of an eye" in 1 Corinthians 15:2 as you can not define a twinkling in measurement of time. Man's literal counting of days is not always how God numbers days in hours, minutes or seconds. This is why I do not consider 1000 years as being literal in 2 Peter 3:8 or Rev 20, but symbolic as in Deuteronomy 7:9; 1Chronicles 16:15; Psalms 50:10; 90:4; 105:8 Ecc 6:6; 7:28; Daniel 5:1; 2Peter 3:8.

in these early chapters we will only look at some of their teaching but it will not compromise the chapter.

Rev 4:1,2 has nothing to do with a pretrib rapture of the Church. Rev 2, 3 instructions to the seven Churches have been issued for edification and warnings of Gods chastisements and now John sees a vision of a door opening before him. The first voice he heard speaking to him was that of great power and authority similar to the powerful sound a trumpet makes. The voice tells John to draw in closer to Gods Spirit to see the visions of those things that are yet future.

After hearing this voice John was immediately overcome by the Holy Spirit and in this vision saw a throne was set in heaven and the Lord sat on it, Rev 1:10; Isaiah 6:1. John was not taken up to heaven, John 3:13, but was only caught up in the Spirit while he was on the isle of Patmos. God was being compared to a jasper and a sardine stone in all their splendor and beauty.

Revelation 4:1-3 1After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this." 2At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. 3And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne. The Door who is Christ showing the way to the place where He has gone that we can now follow Him. It is a door that is standing on its own and a voice like a trumpet is heard a description of God's voice and John his sheep hears the voice and knows his shepherd and immediately is in the spirit as His church will be when He calls us. Just as Lot had to be taken out of Sodom before the judgement fell so must the church be taken out before His wrath is poured out. The rainbow is the bow first seen by Noah as a sign that water would never destroy the earth again.

I don't think we can expect John not to enter through the Door when that is where he was called to. The Lord who called him is inside sitting on His throne. Why would John remain outside. Paul was called up there.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. this is the Day of the Lord it is not the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord which is the final judgment on the whole world except apostate Israel who was judged at the end of Daniel's 70th week of years. The faithful remnant has been saved when the Lord stands on the Mount of Olives causing it to split in two forming a valley of escape for them. Then the Lord goes out to fight anti-Christs demonic army. Please recall that antiChrist is not only opposing the Christ but counterfeiting the Lord. Anti-Christ comes from the passage to the Lake of Fire, the Abyss with his angels just as the Christ is coming with His unfallen angels.

Matthew 24:37 mentions nothing about any angels, but that like in the days of Noah people will be doing the same thing as they will not know when Christ (flood) will come and it will be to late for them to be saved. see above, please

4For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them in chains to be held in gloomy darkness until their judgment; these are the fallen angels that are shown surfacing when the time of judgment spoken of in the Revelation. Whether you want them or not they are coming with anti-Christ. This will be his army that strikes terror into everyone they come against.

Please expand on how this fits. thanks

The Lord is not only going to have that temple but for a 1,000 years the Gentile nations are required to come up and worship there especially coming for the Feast of Tabernacles. I never understood how the quote thing works as it never worked for me either. Usually what I do is highlight the part I want to reply to and click on reply when it comes up. I probably should ask someone how to do multiple quotes.

Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.

The Lord's day is the sabbath day, but in this verse it could also mean the Lord's day in His timing to give John these revelations as I can't see God doing this on a sabbath day of rest.

According to 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 John 3:1-3 those who are in Christ still alive at His coming will be gathered with those who are in Christ that sleep in their graves for at that moment we will all be changed and given new glorified bodies not of flesh and blood as many have already turn to dust. None of us knows what we will look like, but we be like Christ as we will then see Christ as He is now.

Matthew 24:29-31; Rev 19:11-21 Jesus descends down from heaven with His army of the host of heaven as He sends His angels out to the four corners of the earth to gather His own to Him. He will destroy the beast and false prophet casting them into the lake of fire, Rev 19:15, 16. The remnant in Rev 19:21 are the kings (Rulers of every nation) on the earth and their armies that followed after the beast and his false prophet that go out to the battle of Armageddon as this army is sent out to kill Christ when they see Him (and the saints with Him) return and plants His feet on the mount of Olives, Zechariah 14:1-4.

The remnant, like the beast and false prophet, will be slain by the very words Jesus speaks of their demise and at that time Satan will be chained and bound so he can not interfere with those ungodly that are still alive on earth that become the footstool of Christ. Then the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ and He shall reign for ever and ever and the saints will then begin to rule over the nations here on earth, Rev 11:15; 5:10; 20:1-3; Matthew 5:5.

Rev 20:7-10 Those that have rejected Christ that still remain on earth after the beast, false prophet and all the kings/rulers from every nation are destroyed are those who are the numbering as the sand of the sea. These are the enemy of God that Satan uses to battle against the saints that are camped upon the breadth of the earth. Psalms 2:7-10; 110; Ezekiel 36; 37; Rev 20:7-9 the saints are camped not only in Jerusalem the beloved city of God, but also throughout the breadth of the earth. It's only the 144,000 generational Jews that believe in Christ that have returned to Jerusalem. After the 1000 years are fulfilled Satan is set loosed for a season and goes out to deceive the nations as he gathers the enemies of Christ to battle against the saints as the numbering of unbelievers is like the sand of the sea. As the enemy surrounds the camp of the saints God sends fire down from heaven and destroys the enemy and Satan is cast onto the lake of fire.

The cornerstone for the new Temple was brought to Jerusalem on May 21, 2009 and still remains on the street. "Jerusalem Day" in 1967 was to celebrate the liberation of the Temple Mount, but there is a problem there as the Doom of the Rock sits on the Temple Mount. Baruch Ben-Yosel , chairman of the Movement to Restore the Temple, made it clear that the Temple had to be built in the exact spot where the Dome of the Rock sits.

There will never be a third Temple built by hands, Acts 7:48; Acts 17:24. When the veil of the Temple was torn from top to bottom after Jesus gave up the ghost, Matthew 27:50, 51, this symbolized that the sacrifice of Jesus and the shedding of his blood was now made for the atonement of sin and that all, Jew and Gentile, can come before Him as He is the only way to the Father, John 14:6.

There is no more veil for the Priest to enter into the Holy of Holies once a year to make atonement for Israel's sin nor is there any more animal sacrifices as we are no longer under the Old Covenant nor the preaching of the law, but are under a new and better covenant of Gods grace through Christ Jesus as our High Priest, Hebrews 4:14-16. Jesus prophesied of the Temple being desolate and that no one will see Him again until His time comes meaning when He returns on the last day, Matthew 24:1, 2; Luke 13:34, 35, John 6:40.

God no longer dwells in a Temple made by hands and this is why God left it desolate all these years when it was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Now the Dome of the Rock sits on part of the Temple Mount and was built around 692 AD. The Muslims will never give it over to Israel, plus the Dome of the Rock is being refurbished for the son of perdition (not a Muslim man) to come and sit on his throne and will cause a great falling away from truth, Isaiah 14:12-14; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12.

Jesus fulfilled everything the temple stood for being the last sacrificial lamb taking away all the sin of the world. God no longer dwells in a temple made by hands, Acts 7:48-50; 17:22-31; Hebrews 10:7-18.

Shekinahglory replies: where is Satan? The Lord stands on the Mount of Olives before He fights and defeats anti-Christ and the false prophet. The valley for the faithful remnant must be opened because they make their escape through it.

Shekinahglory replies:The beast and false prophet we are told are thrown into the Lake of Fire alive where they are tormented forever. Which remnant is this? I found Satan he was missing in the last installment above. A thousand years with no satanic influences and men still sin.

Shekinahglory replies:The only thing I would ask you to consider is how will the prophecy Judgment first to the Jew then to the Gentile and Salvation first to the Jew and then to the Gentile be fulfilled? all that are left on earth at this time are the faithful remnant of Jews 144,000 and all the unbelieving Gentile nations. There are among the Gentile nations those who will be saved like Israel a remnant who turns to Christ unlike Israel it is not numbered. the Bride of Christ is not on the earth at this time she is in heaven make herself ready for the Bridegroom and His Wedding Supper she will not be brought into contact with any uncleanness and the entire visible creation is unclean. After the defeat of Satan he is cast alive into the Lake of Fire where anti-Christ and the false prophet have been for a 1,000 years. the great white throne judgment the goats are cast into the lake and it is covered. A new heaven and a new earth and a new Jerusalem and the Bride without spot descends to her Groom and all who have been called to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb will only have eternity to celebrate. Pretty good deal.

Shekinahglory replies: The Temple Mount Faithful are bringing the materials that will go to building the temple of anti-Christ. Where would he go with no temple to declare himself as God Incarnate. Where would he go to claim the Throne of David obsessed as he is with the Christ and counterfeiting Him. There are so many reasons why there must be a physical temple for anti-Christ.

Shekinahglory replies: no one said it was going to be physical or built by men. We don't know but it would appear most likely a literal temple with the Gentiles direct to come worship in it. He is coming with His angels.

Jesus fulfilled everything the temple stood for being the last sacrificial lamb taking away all the sin of the world. God no longer dwells in a temple made by hands, Acts 7:48-50; 17:22-31; Hebrews 10:7-18.

Shekinahglory replies:18 And if the people of Egypt will not go up and enter in, then rain will not fall on them; this will be the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19This will be the punishment of Egypt and of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 20On that day, HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the house of the LORD will be like the sprinkling bowls before the altar.… the millenniall temple is where they are called to worship during the 1,000 years.

When anti-Christ comes out of the Bottomless pit (Rev. 9) and the angels under the Euphrates are released and into thin air they disappear.

Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Revelation 9:1-3

This has a lot things coming out of the bottomless pit, namely
locusts.

No antichrist mentioned here.

And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. Revelation 9:11

The king over the locusts is the angel who was given the key to the bottomless pit.

“However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: Acts 7:48

God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Acts 17:24

These verses certainly say, that God does not dwell in a Temple made by hands.

However, this does not say, “There will never be a third Temple built by hands,”

These are the same as The locust shown in Joel. these locust are part of the fallen angels who left their proper place and are being held for the time of judgment. There are also fallen angels held under the Euphrates that are released.

No antichrist mentioned here.

Nope no anti-Christ even though his full time job is denying the Christ and all the things one does to be anti-Christ. This being whatever your title for him maybe he is the top of the line of anti-Christs. Anti means opposes and also counterfeiting The Christ to the point of passing himself off as the True Messiah.

And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. Revelation 9:11
Agree

The king over the locusts is the angel who was given the key to the bottomless pit.

I believe in Rev.1:10, it is speaking of the day of the Lord..
Because, in previous verses, it speaks that He cometh with clouds and every eye shall see Him, they also which pierced Him.

I also believe that the angel of the bottomless pit is Satan, the king over them, the fallen angels, Antichrist.
Rev.9:11
His name Apollyon...
Strong's #623
Destroyer, Satan

The Antichrist is a man; a human being.

He works false signs and wonders after the working of Satan.

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

He is not Satan, he is a man... The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.
