Hello, all...
I am a 58 year old man who was raised as a Christian but who's faith has slipped considerably. I am, at this time, a non-believer.
Is there room for me on this forum?

Welcome to the forums. I pray that God would restore your faith if you are willing. If I can help at all, please PM me.

This is a place for broken people to come, to be helped in the name of Jesus, to have your brokeness covered in prayer by a group of HIS people with great faith in HIS Truth/Word. We've all suffered at the hands of the enemy and his lies. This is a place where he/enemy is not allowed.

So come, and be welcomed in the mighty name of Jesus, HE WHO heals the broken, and the broken hearted. WHO is living waters to a dried up creekbed, WHO provides a blood flow to a heart that has harden from the tactics of this world. HE WHO provides clean garments to those who have come forth from whallowing in the pig pen.

Thank you all for the kindness of your responses and your words of encouragement.
I am perusing the contents of this site to familiarize myself with the structure and philosophies of the members. So far what I see in the majority is the love, compassion, and understanding that I have come to believe are the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Bless you all...

Denghis.......I would like to add, [if you've not already found it] there's the "Men's Locker Room" for discussions that may be private to you, and where you may want only the advice, and/or converse with another man of wisdom.......in other words a forum for "Men Only".

I pray this may be a forum where our "Men of God" can surround you with support/prayer/scripture/ advice when asked/encouragement to pull you through and up out of this valley of dispair, and back to where you want to be in your relationship with Christ. We have some wonderful brethern here brother Denghis that are great encouragers of the Lord....honorable men of the Lord with a beautiful gift of wisdom under their belts. I pray you're bless by them.

And we do have some awesome women of wisdom too if you choose to be in the Christian Talk & Advice forum. When you're ready...........we're here to stand in the gap. :pray

Carol, I see only particulars when it comes to gender. I value all that might be said to me from anyone with a point of view.
I have read many of your posts with great interest, and I think in my heart that the people around you are blessed.

Of course there is brother. There is always room at the cross. May the LORD bless thee and keep thee. May the LORD make his face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee. May the LORD lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace.

Amen :pray

And might I add, a man who has the guts to admit he has slipped is a real man indeed! God bless you brother. May this be a renewal of your relationship with Him... he rejoices over every lost sheep as he calls it, more than all the rest he has found... (I know that's in the Bible somewhere but can't recall where lol)... like any real relationship it has its ups and downs.... rejoice, you are normal!

The Lord is a bit of a disciplinarian, I believe. It’s for our own good.
