Pre-op medical went well.
Now having micro p.o. on 15 May at one hospital and the skin grafts 16th May at another hospital. I won't be able to see at all for 3 weeks after that

Hi brothers and sisters
You may remember that I had macular degeneration in one eye, and that it suddenly disappeared, although that eye is scarred in my central vision I can see to walk about, but not to read.
My other eye has cancer on the lid and it is almost in my eye. If it touches my eye I will lose the eye
It is spreading very quickly. I can hardly see to type now.
An operation has been booked for me for Moh's Microsurgery on 16th May.
I feel very ill right now but wanted you to know why I haven't been around.
Would be grateful for your prayers. There are people I have to look after and the surgeon has told me I will be very ill and in a lot of pain. That's ok but if I lose my sight there is nobody to look after these people.
In case I can't post for a while - love you all.

Praying for you sister, from the bottom of my heart. Let the operation go well and successful and for you not to lose sight, and let the Lord help you in taking care of the people that you care about while you are in surgery and recovering. May the Lord be with you in this difficult time, may you find strength and courage in Him, in Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you Maranne Can't see very well. 15th they cut away cancer, lost two thrds of eyelid. 16th reconstructed eyelid. Have to go back Wednesday to see if successful. Thank you to all who prayed.

I can see a little but. I have no pain and I am much better than they thought I would be. God is amazing.
