I noticed that when I'm pretty stressed about something and or I have a lot on my mind it sort of starts making my stomach feel uneasy. Does anybody have any idea why that is? :confused

I'm just curious but how do you sleep at night then? Especially without getting up many times to pee? :lol
I do sleep ,when its good ,dreams good or bad occur .these set the tone .while still very vivid ,this week they havent been,as dark.

I had one ,just remember pieces of it this morning .I know it involved soldiering as I was telling the newbies about proper uniform .yet somehow I seen victory Blvd and Atlantic which is an actual place ,homes, the 100 year old curb set up. I know i spent a few hours looking up homes there

Also, I noticed that really strange things tend to make me nervous. For instance, if I even start thinking about things to do with my eyes, eyeballs, eyelids, or eyelashes, I either start breathing heavy, crying, and or sweating. I just have a really abnormal fear about them.

I'm probably going to wind up talking to my doctor about it because if I ever get any problems with my eyes it's really going to start stressing and freaking me out. I can't even have them dilated when I go to the eye doctor. I even had to take a few deep breaths before writing this message. I was already starting to have an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach.

It's often the vagus nerve connection. I know a possible way to short-circuit it.

When you feel it starting, Say quietly to yourself, "Oh, my anxiety is stimulating my vagus nerve again."

Wait 4 seconds, and then say this, quietly to yourself:
"Beta-adrenergic receptors on the afferent arm of the vagus nerve detect release of epinephrine from the adrenal gland. This acts as a “something important just happened” signal that activates noradrenergic projection neurons in the locus coeruleus via the nucleus of the solitary tract."

Wait 4 more seconds and then say this quietly to yourself:
"While the amygdala is most closely associated with the acquisition of fear, plasticity within the amygdala is also critical for extinction learning."

Often, this helps.

You can print this on a card and read from it, but it works best if you memorize it. It's O.K. to mispronounce, as long as you say the words in order.

Give it a try.

Its a form of "butterflies" Stress can make health wore, and this is related to bad stress levels. I think this happens in women more than men nowadays. Severe stress can affect pregnancy and cause miscarriages. People take this word for granted. but it happens.
