I'll just go with the flowTo be honest, I like it the way it is,
I am ok with it. [wish the editing of posts could be extended past the 30 min mark, tho I understand the reasoning behind it.... :cool2]
Also, I have seen this message come across the screen on top of the boards. Can you give us more info on it? Sounds great. Are there other forums that use it? Thanks. [didn't know where else to post this]

Xenforo 2.2 is coming soon!

What is the reasoning behind a limited time to edit. Why can't we edit it anytime. We may have an epiphany two days later. LOL

It is a mix language. Dutch, Portugal, Spanish and some countries of Africa.

Pip,

I searched on Google to find your island of origin, Curaçao

Would you maintain it's in the Caribbean Sea? The Worldometer gives the population as 164,000. Which language is taught in the schools of Curacao?

Hi Oz. This four languages: English, Spanish, Dutch and Papiamentu our own language. But on higher school you can choose French or whatever they are given. Papiamentu begin at home, then Dutch (Netherland), then English the next Spanish. This is must. But I'm bad in all!!

Pip,
You are doing very well in English here. Keep up the good work. Practice on us.:pepsican Can you purchase Pepsi in Curacao? I've just checked the religious background of your island nation:

If you have an epiphany two days later, chances are many people would have already read your post. They won’t come back and read it again. If you have an epiphany, write a new post.
Think of it like the verbal language. You can’t edit what you’ve already said, you can only add to what you’ve said.

There have also been issues in the past with people posting and then editing a couple days or more later after others have already replied. As a result the responses make no sense because those that come into the discussion after the fact, have no idea what changes have been made. This still happens even now on occasion because some make changes within the designated time period even though some others may have already replied.

My point exactly. I have never been treated this badly in my life. It was easier growing up in an alcoholic home. I wanted to talk about love and all everybody talks about is sin and how we're going to hell. You're all so self-righteous. God is love. A A gets that. And some Christians get that. But it's not anywhere on this board..

You don't have to leave here, Susannah, AA and Christianity are not incompatible. There are JUDGERS among both fellowships, JUDGERS in NA, Celebrate Recovery, this church, that church, JUDGERS everywhere we look - even in the mirror if we are not careful...

We are SINNERS, or at least I am...

Stay.

One board I was at from 2013 until recently.

They have "withdrawn fellowship" from me.

They deleted some of my posts.
I pointed out that some of my posts that they deleted had been quoted by other posters, so they could delete them from there as well.

So I am returning to this board, and trying to understand any changes in TOS.

How kind and loving of you to ask me to stay. I've come and gone several times. I talked it over with Jeff and we both agreed I'm just a misfit. LOL When I go to church I can't talk about AA. When I go to AA I can't talk about Christ. They only time I'm really happy as when I'm praying and meditating and talking to the Holy Spirit. I have my own message board with 7,000 members. People love me and have a lot of respect for my gifts. So I'm going to be spending time helping others with their problems. This is the calling that God gave me. I was never called to the ministry even though I loved Christ with all my heart. I've always worked with addicts so it's best I go to AA meetings. For now anyway. I hope things work out for you this time around. God bless you. ❤
