Hello, how are thing's going.

I have had some experience with Christianity, I have called on Jesus in the past. I could never get the beliefs about him sorted in my mind, so much confusion for so long. After that I moved to another belief system, and another, and other.

Then in all the madness, I rejected belief itself.

Now I get on fine.

Most people who reject spirituality do. What will you do after you die and find your name is not in the book of salvation?
You have not understood correctly, I have rejected the need to believe itself. I have learnt to suspend assumptions, which is the core of all beliefs.

'Then in all the madness, I rejected belief itself.'

You belief that you have no beliefs?
or
do you mean that you have no religous beliefs?

That you can demonstrate that there is no God, that there is no supernatural etc etc etc.

Hi Ghostbuster and welcome.

For some with schizophrenia-like yourself, its best to put all spirituality aside and simply focus on your daily tasks, even if that means not believing in God.

For those like yourself, it's hard enough to navigate the daily thoughts that separate reality from your imagination, and to throw in spirituality only adds to the dilutions your mind constantly throws your way. For some like you, to believe in God can cause the delusions to get so bad, your life on earth can unwind and become unmanageable.

Set a daily routine and stick with it each day and focus on staying grounded to reality the best way you know how.

I wish you could understand God like many of us, but I also understand that the grandeur of Gods glory takes your mind to ungodly places.

In the temple, priests ministered to the heavenly objects with their sandals off. They were barefoot as a symbolic reminder that they must be grounded when surrounded by spirituality least it consume them and detach them from the realities intended to be realized. You see, you cannot separate the spiritual from reality and I understand that your mental limitations cannot keep you within these boundaries as you will always be prone to leaving reality and flying above the skies in your own state of spirituality far removed from Christianity as God intended.

May you find peace and grace with us during your time here.

Cogito ergo sum means I think, therefore I must exist. The above topic reminded me of a man called René, who rejected belief in what others said, and wanted to try and figure out for himself what's going on. His first insight was that since he was thinking, he must exist.

Remembering trivia like that is what happens when you attend the public school system for many years.

Okay but what does that have to do with whether or not somebody has a belief in God? :confused

Hi Ghostbuster and welcome to CF :wave2

You said you have had some experience with Christianity, can you elaborate on that?

Frustration and confusion may cause one to give up and never seek the truth of the word of God because they do not understand and need to be taught simple basics of Salvation. It's like baby steps as you put one foot in front of the other until you learn how to walk.

The basics we need to learn are written in Colossians 3:1-17 and if we follow these guidelines then we will remain in the will of God. The best place to start for learning and understanding Gods Salvation is reading the book of John to learn who Jesus was and is in our own lives and to know anyone can come unto Gods Salvation no matter who you are or what you have done God loves us all unconditionally.

Never let your disability keep you from understanding the basics as it's all about believeing in Christ and what He has done for us on the cross.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

There is a NWO coming, but is a Luciferian system of political, economic, military and false religious power they will deceive those into rejecting Christ as they present a false Christ. This will be led by Satan working through those to deceive the world blinding them to the true faith in Jesus Christ.

It's all about having faith in Jesus even if we can't see Him, but believe in what He has already taught. Faith the size of a mustard seed is all you need.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Baby steps my friend as we all had to take baby steps before we learned how to walk.

We are here to help you with any questions you have.

Hi Ghostbuster....
Rejecting belief is a belief system.

You can't get away from believing.
All of life is believing something or other.

Hope you enjoy your stay here and I truly wish
you the best.

A lot of people get comfortable in sin and disbelief. It’s so much easier than holding ourselves to a higher standard. That’s why Jesus said the way to destruction is wide and many pass through it and the way to salvation is narrow and few find it. But are you really happy? Do u really have peace? Or is something missing? Church isn’t necessary. The only way to find the something missing is to read the word of Jesus in the New Testament and apply it. Read with an open heart and mind and pray. You won’t be disappointed.
