Personal Grooming

If I've heard it once I've heard it a hundred times...
During this pandemic people (myself included) seem to be having issues with personal Grooming and actually putting on clothes.
Things like combing/brushing hair, brushing teeth, using deoderent, and etc.
Granted, I can't see or smell anyone...
But I have noticed that during our Sunday School classes lately that people are barely throwing clothes on for the video conference.

If you don't have anywhere to go, no one to meet, and no one is going to see you...

I'll admit I have days that it's difficult to get out of my bathrobe and put on pants.

Brushing my hair? I have a hat...no need for such things.

Point taken, but during a video conference obviously people can see you,.. otherwise you wouldn't have even known about it in the first place.

That's what shirts are for...but that doesn't mean that you need pants.

My "house clothes" are getting worn out...
and my "going out clothes" are just sitting in the closet.

I keep putting lipstick on,,,forgetting that no one will see it (incl me)
and which will just stain my mask. I do think I've finally gotten this down to memory.

I think our Joie de vivre is going, going, gone.

Well your reluctant admission means that you are normal and just like everyone else.

Here, the drivers are getting more rude and less willing to follow the rules.

Nashville was already bad enough with people driving like they own the road. It seems like it has gotten worse with fewer people out on the road.

I've been in a hurry before...but now that things are just now opening up where could people be going in such a hurry? An illegal meeting perhaps?

At 4:00 pm there's a minimum of another 4 hours things will be open. (Banks are closed) Surely you can get to wherever before you get home.

I simply don't understand.

Meaning guys don't typically where shirts in the summertime, but since women have their boom-booms on top,.. they need to wear bras and that would be just very wrong for women walking around with nothing but their bras on. The same as it would be considered extremely wrong for men to walk around without any pants on,.. like umm,.. eww!! That is except if you're in a nudist community or something. (Still,.. eww!!!)

Yeah.

I used to go to the "supermarket" near me about 4 X per week.
It's a little supermarket, but the prices are great and I hate big stores.
My real supermarket is about 15 minutes away and my very favorite supermarket
is 30 minutes away....down by Lucca.

Nice. Little to bag.
Little to get into the trunk.
Little to put away.

Now I go every 7 to 10 days.
There's a line outside like, maybe, Brad Pitt is signing autographs.
Everybody's in a bad mood. People here talk to each other.
No talking.
Then you go in and you have to sanitize your hands AND put gloves on.
Then you have to keep 2 meters distance from everyone.
Then the check-out girl, that I'm friendly with, is not so friendly anymore....
UFFA.
I hate going out.
I think I'm becoming a hobbit....

Nothing has changed for me. I always dress nice and do my makeup and whatnot as a stay at home mom. I'm like an updated version of June Cleaver. lol

Part of the reason that I do make a total effort, is the situation I heard about growing up. I had a step aunt and step uncle where he worked and she stayed home with the kids. He ended up leaving her because she didn't put any effort into looking nice. I don't know if that is right or wrong? I'd say wrong, because they could've talked about it and worked something out if it was that big of a deal?!

My kids do get on zoom calls in their pajamas, because some classes want them to be on a call at 8:00am sometimes and they are just rolling out of bed. Thankfully they both take showers still everyday. Yay.

Home less here were and some joggers where sports bras while out.

Hard to miss those .the skating lady who isnt ugly and uses a skateboard to go around .I'm not sure if she is homeless or just without a car ,though i have seen her with a bf,hanging out with the Home less .she zipped out of the driftwood last week and went back into it ,either she is a relative ,works there and lives there and isn't Home less .pushing a board across both bridges isn't easy .those i have ran. Or walked to get photos .one mile

Not that I disagree fully but you try running in my,state at 8am in 80 degree weather and 90 perecent humidity .

Some do where shirts but,well i had one run past me on royal palm Pointe and she had a short over her sports bra ,and the sweat will enable a person to figure out things ,a breathing shirt isn't very thick .not,that one could see it all but ..

They can still wear a tank-top or something. It's better than walking and or running around in their underwear.
