Hi I come for prayer. With my Mental Illness I suffer from Depression. I also think I have ruined my life because I dont feel things or enjoy things like I used to.(Before Having A Mental Illness). I just want something crazy good to happen in my life because there are times I feel I dont want to live anymore. I just want to be healed. I dont want to set goals and make my life better. I want my life to be better merely and completely by God. May it be nothing I did but everything that God did. I want to have a heart that feels and a heart that has deep love for family, friends, supports, God's children, and God. God says ask receive and ask anything in His Name and He will do it. God says if two Christians agree on anything it will be done. Please agree with me on this post today. God is good. Thank You God for all You Give. IJNA

and, as a side note...sometimes, getting the psychiatrist to switch the medication(s) in the treatment can be a tremendous help. personal example: I have 'severe mental illness,' the kind where one almost always has to take a tranquilizer/antipsychotic. OK. so, I was briefly put on Risperdal, which...wasn't terrible, I guess, but I couldn't concentrate, my mouth was dry, and I -felt- like I was in a cocoon. Thankfully, my psych switched to Abilify, which...isn't a magic pill, so don't take this as me advertising (the stuff is now generic, anyway, thank goodness)...

and the Abilify 'gets the job done,' but it does it mostly in the background, as in...usually, I don't -feel- tranquilized, medicated, whatever, and my concentration, energy levels, etc. are -much- better. true story.
