[__ Prayer __] Please Pray For This Baby

There is someone that I know and they recently had a sweet baby boy (only a few weeks old)! Although, things aren't going 100% and the baby has a form of craniosynostosis =( For those who aren't familiar with the word, it is where the skull plates fuse together too soon. If left untreated, it can cause too much pressure on the brain and cause intense headaches, seizures, vision loss, etc.

They have diagnosed this rather early and baby has had a lot of tests and is due in for surgery to fix the plates so that they can grow normally.

I ask that you pray for the mother and father because they have been wanting another child and have suffered from infant loss before so I can't imagine how worried they must be for anything to happen to their little bundle of joy. Pray for the siblings, that you would also help them get through this time. Pray for the medical staff attending this sweet little baby and may God guide their hands so that this surgery may go well and better than expected. Pray that this is the only major surgery this little baby will have to have.

I worry for them even though I'm sure they don't care for me too much. As a mom, it's hard not to feel for them in this difficult time. If I understand right they might be going in tomorrow for surgery unless it was another doctors visit to completely confirm everything for an upcoming surgery.

The day has arrived, little baby's surgery is this afternoon (in 2 hours) and is expected to be lengthy. They are having to do a little more than they thought as he now has pressure on his optic nerves. Continue to pray that his surgery is successful and that his family will be comforted during this time.
 
So sorry to hear of more complications. Hope all has gone well with the operation.
Prayin for baby's full recovery and comfort and strength fo the family.,
