Wow, Great site. Beautiful image on your portal page. I would consider removing the enter links on either side, those distract from the image. Perhaps place one enter below the picture and make the picture a link to your site.
Your Home button on the navigational menu should probably point to news.html, I don't see any reason to go back to the portal page besides to look at the beautiful picture.
I have to scroll down a little too much for my tastes. Perhaps spread out the information to new pages.
Overall, you have an incredible church website. It serves its purpose well, and I pray God's richest blessings upon your church. I hope this helps.

you index page well your image and text needs to be centred and alligned it would be easyer to work with tables or frame sets and you banner in the main site is too small.

Looks great! Perhaps you should spread out the right side of the news.html so that you will have more space in the center for text.
