See. I'm not the only one with controversial views.
But actually I like that Pope Francis can think outside the square.

Those who transgress “outside” of the teachings of Christ, do not have Him.

Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 2 John 9

I would encourage you to remain within the boundaries of the doctrine of Christ.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12

"Homosexuals are children of God and deserve to be in a family"...said Pope Francis.

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

You are going to have to decide whether you will follow the teachings of Christ or the teachings of the Pope.

I thought we were all children of God.

He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; Matthew 13:37-38

That's a lot of people going to Hell then. Looks like a small minority are bound for Heaven.

I think they are the same. But I'm not theological enough to debate you.

Brother, I don’t want to debate you.

If the Lord says that homosexuals or sodomites will not inherit the kingdom of God, then we should believe Him over anyone else.

Do you understand what the phrase means... will not inherit the kingdom of God?

There’s no need for people to go to hell when Jesus Christ has paid the price for them to go to heaven.

Don’t you agree?

I really do appreciate your concern jlb. I know you have the best of intentions. For some reason I think that you are not quite correct. Maybe all we Catholics are bound for Hell.

Is it worth clinging to a certain sin, and losing your soul.

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26

We all have the same choice to make.

Follow and obey Christ as our Lord, or someone else.

And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, Hebrews 5:9
