Chapter Three
When Do We Go?
I felt I should share this part of my revelation first in order that the rest
would be sufficiently important. For now I would like to deal specifically
with the ingathering harvest of the Church and not the First-fruits. Many
disagree with the term “rapture†because it is not in the Word. The Greek
word harpazo, meaning “to snatch or catch awayâ€Â, is translated “caught
upâ€Â. Since this is what most mean when they use the term “rapture†it is
just a sectarian spirit that would have us argue over such things.
So that the majority will understand, I will use their terminology. Most
agree with the Scriptures that the rapture and the resurrection happen
“togetherâ€Â. (1Thes.4:16) For the Lord himself shall descend
from heaven, with a shout…and the dead in Christ shall rise
first; (17) then we that are alive, that are left, shall together
with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the
air. (1Cor.15:51) Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not
sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, (52) in a moment, in the
twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall
sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall
be changed.
Notice that all the dead and all the living in Christ at this
time will be changed in the same moment. Therefore, if the time of the resurrection can be proven, we will know when the rapture happens.................

I went to that page earlier. I started to watch the video, but I ran out of free time at word. Hopefully I will finish it tomorrow.

I saw that they have actually made "Hidden Manna" into a video book as well now. That is new ! :)

COMMERCE or CHRIST?
-by Gerald Chester.

In his gospel record, the first-century physician Luke quoted Jesus:
"No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and
love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the
other. You cannot serve both God and Money" Luke 16:13 (NIV).
Hence the worship of God and money are mutually exclusive.
Please note that I did not say that God and money are mutually
exclusive, but rather the worship of God and money are
mutually exclusive.

Most of us do not consider ourselves to be worshippers of money.
Instead we claim to be worshippers of God. But if Amy Domini is
correct and the signs and symbols of the culture reveal what people
really value and therefore worship, do the signs confirm that we
are worshippers of money?

Consider the following signs:

Sign #1: Success is denominated in terms of money. When the
label "successful" is applied to a person, we are commonly referring
to his or her financial success. Unless the person is an outright
criminal like Bernie Madoff, the level of success that one enjoys
is directly proportional to one's financial fortune.

Sign #2: Americans live as consumers not stewards. This is so
obvious to the workplace that business pundits have labeled
Americans as "consumers." Furthermore, our economy is built on
consumption; hence, when personal consumption drops, so does
the economy.

Sign #3: An entitlement mentality has emerged in America regarding
the right to a certain standard of living, disaster aide, health care,
and financial safety. Most people expect the government to care
for them if something goes wrong and when they get old. There is
no compelling reason to responsibly save money or to help each other.

Sign #4: Almost everyone chooses their work based on money.
People, as a general rule, accept jobs and leave jobs to make
more money. Any other factors that might be considered are secondary.

Sign #5: Money, for the most part, dictates where people choose
to live. Most people determine the largest mortgage they qualify
for and shop for a home that will match that mortgage. Because
of this, many people live "house poor," meaning that they cannot
adequately furnish, decorate and/or maintain their homes. Further-
more, because people live on the edge financially, when economic
stress comes they often lose their homes through foreclosure.

As I consider these signs, I am persuaded that money is very
important to people-far more important than God. Having been
active in Christianity for more than fifty years, my anecdotal
observation is that God is important to people for a few hours each
week on Sunday, but the rest of the time most people focus on
money. Money defines who we are-how we view and use money,
our social standing, our public policy, where we work, and how we
live. Where is God in all of this?

As noted above, one of the rules of God's universe is that people
cannot worship both God and money-a choice has to be made.
Sadly, few seem to understand this reality-many professing
Christians display the signs noted above, which means that they
are trying to worship God and money.

Let us be clear: when we break God's rules, there will be
consequences. Note the words of the apostle Paul in Galatians 6:7:
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what
he sows" [NIV]. It is deception to think that we can sow seeds of
rebellion by violating God's laws and not have consequences. Yet,
this is what we are doing. We think that we can worship God and
money, but God has said that we can't...

The popular paradigm of present day Christianity focuses on getting
people to make a decision for Christ, as if one decision is all that
we need to make. This implies that all other decisions can be
made without Christ. When you read the New Testament, it is
abundantly clear the apostle Paul viewed Christ and his teachings
as the basis for making all decisions (e.g., Colossians 2).

About a year ago, I heard a speaker say that he was not trying to
get people to make a decision for Christ, rather he was trying to
get them to make every decision for Christ. This is the biblical perspective.

I think the signs of the times are clear. The professing Christian
community, particularly in North America, has abandoned the
worship of Christ and chosen to worship commerce (i.e., money).
This choice will have undesirable consequences. Perhaps the
current economic calamity is part of the consequences.

Hosea 13:2 reads: "Now they [the Israelites] sin more and more;
they make idols for themselves from their silver, cleverly fashioned
images, all of them the work of craftsmen . . ." (NIV). Note that the
craftsmen (i.e., the workplace) simply accommodated the wishes
of the people. The real driver in a culture is the worldview of the
people. The workplace and public policy of a culture merely reflect
the people's worldview. If the people choose to worship God, then
the workplace and public policy will worship God. And if the
people choose to worship money, the workplace and public policy
will also worship money.

Choosing to worship money instead of God will lead to judgment
(see Deuteronomy 28). But if people repent and worship the one
true God, then there will be blessings. So the choice is ours-
commerce (i.e., money) or Christ-what will it be?

Know this: because of the sin of man, the default answer is
commerce. So if you want to change, truly change, you have to
proactively engage in rejecting the worship of money and choose Christ...

With so much of it being posted lately, why not. It would be easier to locate this way..

Hey, why not any link related to End Times? It doesn't have to be Jewish. You find an interesting link or source, post it here, with just a brief excerpt maybe.

:)

This is not a debate thread. :tongue

The Book of Revelation is actual based on the ancient jewish framework for the end times:

http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp?artid=460&letter=E&search=Jewish eschatology#1223
The whole apocalypse, of which xxii. 10-15 is the conclusion, is, like the shorter one which precedes it, in every part and feature (except where altered by the Christian compiler) thoroughly Jewish in spirit and conception, as was fully recognized by Mommsen ("RÅ¡mische Gesch." v. 520-523).
It presents the development of the whole eschatological drama according to the Jewish view.
It is Hebrew in composition and style, and bears traces of having originally been written in Hebrew, as is shown by the words (tabernacle; xxi. 3) for;(angels) mistaken for (Kings; ix.) (has conquered) for (is worthy); and others. The two apocalypses appear to have been, like that in Matt. xxiv., or like the Epistle of James and the Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs, in the possession of Essenes who joined the Judeo-Christian Church after the destruction of the Temple.

The End Times, when a new heaven and a new earth appears and the old is burned up is hyperbole for what sociologists call a social paradigm.

It is what has happened many times on different planes of social interact than the religious.
On the Educational Level, the Enlightenment was the change from a social paradigm that was called the Age of Reason when thinking centered on the idea that common sense and lear thinking itself was the ruler for understanding life and our place in it.
Once the Scientific Method grew up and matured out of the paradigm its impact changed the whole world again.

These changes, in both those cases, had the impact of a giant comet wiping out all the previous ages, as clearly a different earth and heaven thereafter as had the bronze age replace the stone age.

What Revelation predicts the appearance of one man, in the spirit of Jesus, who by merely opening up the Bible for the believers he will call together, the next major change in the arena of relion and man's concept of God will burn up the old world of medieval confusion that is christianity today.

That is to say, Rev 4&5 tell us that the expected messiah will have the key to scripture which has been missing until then.
He will open the Bible to the present denominationally divided and diverse church, ushering in an ecumenicalism that will include and embrace and even promote to leadership the whole of the Jewish people.

In a way, the simple sum of the whole thing is thatthe Jews will accept Jesus because they will see that he was actually their Elijah.

This will bring tem into the body of Christ, World Christianity, and embrace them under the wing of 2 billion fellow christians, saving them with the force and magnitude of the whole congregation of world wide christianity where Christ is the head and they themselves are merely part of the bread of thechurch.

The social, economic, and theological changes forthcoming will be a new heaven in the mind of mankind ever after, a different insight and paradigm about god, religion, and a new earthly behavior in regard to worship.

The one Key to this whole change in Judaism is to see Jesus as their Elijah.

This momentous moment in Jewish history will begin with the curiosity of comparing the Book of Kings with the Gospels.
The insight that shall lead Jews to question the Christian perspective on Jesus, suggesting that Jesus is the forerunner of their kingly messiah yet to come, will be based at first on realizing both men did the same things in their two separate appearances, as prophesied:

BothElijah and Jesus raised the dead.

BothElijah and Jesus were immortal.

BothElijah and Jesus disappeared from the foot of a mountain.

BothElijah and Jesus ascended into Heaven before witnesses.

BothElijah and Jesus troubled Israel.

BothElijah and Jesus were hunted down by the Jewish authorities.

BothElijah and Jesus hid in a cave/tomb.

BothElijah and Jesus pondered in the wilderness 40 days.

BothElijah and Jesus walked on the water.

Bothwrote letters to people on Earth after they had ascended.

Bothappointed a successor, Elisha by Elijah, and Peter, by Christ.

Bothwere hunted by the Jewish authorities.

Bothgave a successor the power to raise the dead.

Bothgave a successor a symbolic authority, the cloak to one, the keys to the other.

Bothasked that this "cup" be taken from them.

Bothhad miraculous births

Bothmultiplied the meal for many people they feed in the crowd.

Bothdestroyed the pagan worshippers and priests, one Baal, the other, the Pantheonof Rome.

Bothwere promised faithfulness three times, Elisha in the former and Peter, in thelatter.

My view of the end times is that it refers to a catacylsmic moment in Judaism when the Jews convert to Jesus.
This will be a revival like no other.

It will mean that Christianity, Islam, and the whole world will need re-evaluate their own Bible insights.
The Jewish priest who will replace the present rabbinicql authorities will be returned to their right place as the priests before god forever, as stated in Exodus.

These priest are the Cohans, or the sons of Aaron.

These sons of Aaron, all with names like cohan or Kahn, etc, are known to us.
They have been genetically identified and through their Y-chromosome, proven to be sons of one man, presumably Aaron, who lived in the age of Moses, around 1360BC.

This dicsovery and the conversion is why Zechariah prophesies that all believers (or their churches) will attend to Israel for Tabernacles every year:

COMPARE the Old testament Elijah with the New Testament Jesus:

1) Both Elijah and Christraised the dead:
1 Kings 17:22 And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul ofthe child came into him again, and he revived

John 12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, whereLazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

2) Both Elijah, who never dies, and Christ were immortal:

2 Kings 2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah intoheaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal

John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen theLORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of thenails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand intohis side, I will not believe.

3) Both Elijah and Christ ascended into Heaven before witnesses:

2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and partedthem both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
12 And Elisha saw it.

Luke 24:51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he wasparted from them, and carried up into heaven

4) Both Elijah and Christ troubled Israel:

1 Kings 18:17 And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah that Ahab saidunto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?

Matthew 2:3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests andscribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born

5) Both Elijah and Christ were threatened by the authorities with death:

1 Kings 19:14 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God ofhosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown downthine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I even I only am left;and they seek my life, to take it away

John 11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for toput him to death

6) Both Elijah and Christ were hunted by the Jewish authorities

1 Kings 19:14 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God ofhosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown downthine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, amleft; and they seek my life, to take it away

John 7:25 ] Then said some of them of Jerusalem, Is not this he, whomthey seek to kill?

7) Both Elijah and Christ hid in a cave/tomb:

1 Kings 19:9 And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thouhere, Elijah

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in thewhale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in theheart of the earth.
