In Matthew 10:1 Jesus sent his disciples, in Matthew 11:1 Jesus went to teach and to preach in their cities.

In Mark 6:7 Jesus sends his disciples,In mark 6:30. They return to him.

In Luke 9:1 Jesus sends his disciples, In Luke 9:10 they return to him.

The same event, different writer. The Scriptures give us more proof, John beheaded Matthew 14:10 Mark 6:27 and luke 9:9.

Feeding the 5000 Matthew 14:21 Mark 6:44 Luke 9:14. Has Jesus returned Yet NO

jasonc I was just trying to show that matthew 10:23 is used as a proof text by Preterism to show that Jesus has come back the second time. but the Bible verses I showed say different.
Full preterism, not partial ,but if you think those standing there are still alive point me to John, he died of old age,not beheading

reba I am not promoting preterism at all.

I was showing that disciples returned to Jesus while he was alive and still here

sorry about the miss understanding.i am not a Preterist at all. I was trying refute what Preterists say about Matthew 10:23
I could tell you are not a pretest :) i wanted you to know the view this sight has on full preterism... and on orthodox preterism..

Jerrydb let me ask you this ,,, if JLB will be so kind as to allow you to answer :hips :)

what do you make of the differences between what Jesus said to Mary and Thomas..
Joh 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Joh_20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

jasonc. Sorry I was talking about John the Baptist being beheaded, and the feeding of the 5000 as added proof that Matthew,Mark, and Luke were talking about Jesus sending the twelve disciples and them returning in his life time.

It's always good to remember that your audience might not all be mind readers... and it goes double when you aren't there speaking to them, but only leaving a written message.

As I said, a little bit of gas in the water makes it undrinkable. Even a tiny speck of Preterism is way out to the land of errors and confusion.

Folks like to cover their crazy doctrines in the pretence of Partial, or lean toward a bit wording to hide what they have become. A confused Wolf in sheep cloths, not even a wolf that can think straight, and crippled by it's own loss of smell or sense of direction.

Have any of the proficy in the New Testament been fulfilled?

Have any of the proficy in the New Testament been fulfilled?

There is not a whole lot of prophecy in the NT but what occurs at the end. The major ones are the Angelic Trumpet, seals and Vials events that have yet to occur.

Rule and authority of God in a believers life (Kingdom of God) Check
Holy Spirit poured out, dreams, visions Check

Not a whole lot to look at.
