And ~serapha~ sings....

"I'm Redeemed, by love divine...

Glory, glory, Christ is mine..."

The good thing about the doctrine of eternal security is knowing that you will spend eternity in the presence of God.

And nothing that anyone teaches as doctrine that indicates that one will be "unsaved" because God's breaking His promise of "everlasting life" just isn't worth reading.

God isn't a liar, and if God's told me in His Word that I'm redeemed by my faith, then that's where the story ends.

hmm......

You comments really make me wonder if you are putting your faith in a doctrine more than you are in Christ.

I hope that this isn't the case.

Hi there!

I'll say it again.....

God isn't a liar, and if God's told me in His Word that I'm redeemed by my faith, then that's where the story ends.

If salvation isn't by faith, then it isn't salvation.

Are we on the same page now?

Yes, we are redeemed by our faith, but as has been pointed out in another thread, we can make shipwreck of our faith.

If salvation isn't by faith, then it isn't salvation.
The Bible is clear, it is our faith that saves us. Why are you so confused as to think I believe otherwise?

Are we on the same page now?
Obviously not.

I know that I am redeemed by by faith, I cannot make a statement about your position with Christ, thus I cannot use the term "we".

What is your authority to make a judgment call on "my" faith? What is your authority to question where "my" faith has been placed?

No... obviously not.

And apparently there won't be an apology for sitting in judgment on someone else's profession of faith.

I hope in the future to see more edification on the forums rather than the destruction that "judging" brings. It a choice in how one choses to walk their Christian walk... and to talk their Christian talk.... It's also a choice if one want to walk the talk.
