I also hate to elbow in, especially if I ended my part in the other thread with this similar topic. I am the type willing to debate things for awhile, and not much really bothers me, even if I use specific language at times. But then again, I see there's a point in time where I think I made my point, supported it with scripture (whether or not the others agree) and move on because one can get bandying somethings around forever (and who has that kind of time?)
Although I agree with you, "awisherofgrace" I do think you are letting this person get to you--- that's how you are coming across. Let it go. You made your points. For all we know, they may be a troll (or you or me for all we know)--- some folks like to get others going. That's why when I have to make the same point more than once or twice, I start to question--- When I saw that I was making some points but my questions were not being answered or addressed, then I decided to let it go. The results of the debate are clearly "inconclusive" because without all the information, one cannot judge. That's why I left.

Christ's victory is complete, I believe the scripture supports and gives account of the victory and the person of Christ.
I don't even view this as a debate. Squeaky has no leg to stand on scripturally.

I meant the conclusion of the forum, where one at least acknowledges the point of the other. In reality, that rarely happens in forums since most people enter them "with their minds made up" trying to convince others of their point. The only converts one ever gets are those who are sitting on the fence unsure of their position and there is no great emotional connection to defend the subject at hand.
Actually, I believe the bible teaches things that I claim to support by scripture that the mainline church does not agree with me, or even calls heretical. To me, the whole church world is sort of like a "Squeaky". And the agnostic critics find the arguments even more rediculous (but they don't believe the bible anyway). Now, how do you think that would feel to a person who believes that way, to be all (or mostly) alone? But I don't let it bother me because I know I came to these conclusions by careful study and reasoning them out. The Lord is my judge.
So I know the feeling, multiplied many times over.
Remember, you cannot make a person believe something--- as for grace, that comes from God. As much as being saved is preached as a free choice, that is a half truth. One has to be born of God, just as two parents decide to make a child (but a born child eventually knows it was born and chooses to live just as we, upon being born again, choose God when that happened)

Squeaky is not a part of the Church. Squeaky rejects Christ. I don't know what you claim, but I pray it is not the same message as Squeaky.
If you wish to let me know what your claims are, I would be glad to give you my perspective on them. Your choice completely.
