Wow what an amazing book. My question is this, do you agree that for the first 1000 years that we will have to take part in animal sacrifice

Nope. Doesn't it say that the Lord puts an end to that?

Oh they will prolly build another temple and even start doing sacrifices of animals again, in error because of Jesus. But man is dumb enough to do it anyway.

It is an amazing book. It is my belief, as a Dispensationalist, that during the 1000 year Millennium, there will be animal sacrifices. The Millennium is not Heaven. It is the thousand year reign of Christ on the earth with the nation Israel as the leading nation over the world, and from there Jesus Christ rules.

The Temple will be built as given in (Ezekiel 40-48). There will be priests and sacrifices. (43:19)

We who are the Church are not partakes of these sacrifices. This is done by the Jews in the Temple. We who are the Church rule and reign with Christ as we are part of the First Resurrection. (Rev.20:6)

Do you believe the Church is made of Jews and Gentiles, such as Peter and Paul and the early Church?

I agree it is an amazing book, full of word pictures discribing things John did not fully understand and that he used what he did understand to depict them.

Will we offer sacrifices? No for there is no need for them, our sins are forgiven through Jesus's sacrifice.

Revelation, which means the unveiling, was given to John in visions as prophecies that had their beginnings in the Old Testament, being fulfilled in the New Testament and yet much to be fulfilled in future events before the great and terrible day of the Lords return.

Revelations is given to all nations and tongues that live throughout the whole world as in Jew and Gentile. Israel is mainly mentioned, but not all of Israel is Gods chosen people. Those who are washed in the blood of the Lamb are joined as a branch with Israel as God is the root of that branch and those who are sealed by His Holy Spirit are His own who find favor in Him, Romans 11:11-31. Therefore, our attention needs to be on those things that are happening in Israel especially Jerusalem as being Gods Holy City.

I'm going to move this thread to the End Time forum as it's a better fit there for discussion.

They can build another temple and make blood sacrifices all they want, but God will not honor any of it nor enter that temple made by hands, plus it will not be built on the very Temple Mount of God.

1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Cor 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Isa 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Act 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Act 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Act 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?
Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Act 7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
Act 7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

Eze 43:1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
Eze 43:2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
Eze 43:3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
Eze 43:4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
Eze 43:5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

These verses are about the restoration of Israel in the Kingdom after the return of Israel to the land, nothing about a future temple in the end of days. After the siege in 585-570 B.C., in 572 B.C., fourteen years after the destruction of Jerusalem, Ezekiel returns in a vision to the fallen city and is given detailed specifications of the reconstruction of the temple the city and the land. After an intricate description of the new outer court, inner court and temple he views the return of the glory of the Lord to the temple from the east. Regulations concerning worship in the coming temple are followed by revelations concerning the new land an city.

We who are God's own by faith through the Spiritual rebirth are the temple of God not made by hands as we are in Christ and He in us and indwelled and sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption Ephesians 1:3-14.

Yes, (Ezekiel 43:1-5) concern the time when Israel is restored in the land. (Ezekiel 40-42) describe that future Temple.

How is it not about a future Temple when Ezekiel is standing in that Temple describing it.

(Ezekiel 40:17) "Then brought he me into the outward court"
(40:24) "After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south"
(40:28) "And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate"
(40:32) "And he brought me into the inner court toward the east"
(40:35) " And he brought me to the north gate"
(41:1) "Afterward he brought me to the temple"
(42:1) "Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north"
(42:1) "he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place"
(43:1) "Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east"

This is not the Temple rebuilt during the days of Ezra and Nehemiah. No return of the glory of the Lord ever filled that Temple. (Ezekiel 43:4)

Why do you use verses in (1 Cor.) and (Eph)? What is that supposed to mean?

I will hold what I said in post #11 to be true unless the Holy Spirit sends me correction from someone else.

Go to Chabad.org and look up "Did the Jews Disregard Ezekiel's Prophecy of the Temple" you will see that Ezekiel chapters 40-48 is talking about the second temple Ezekiel was given a vision of while he was still in Babylonian exile.

Since the destruction of the temple in 70AD the notion and desire of a third temple is only of Judaism (Orthodox Judaism) who want to see another one built, but it will never be built on the very Temple Mount of God nor will the ark of the covenant dwell in the Holy of holies as no one knows what happened to it after the siege of 70AD. There have been other temples built, but God never honored them nor dwelled in them.

Acts 7:48-51 God no longer dwells in temples made by hand - 1 Cor 3:16, 17

Hebrews 10:1-18 God takes no pleasure in burnt offerings as we are now the temple of God through the Spiritual rebirth by that of the blood sacrifice of Christ once and for all - Ephesians 1:3-14 Spiritual blessings of Christ

Rev 21:9-22 descibes the New Jerusalem vs. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Ezekiel is not talking about the 2nd Temple. They are not the same in size. The glory of God did not return to the 2nd Temple as it does with Ezekiel's. There is a river running out from this temple to the dead sea. (Eze. 47:1-8) No such river ever existed with any other Temple.

Ezekiel's temple has never existed. it will exist in the Millennium. It is the desire of God, as God is the One who gave Ezekiel the plans for it. Perhaps God was mistaken in His drawings.

Of course the glory of God did not return to the second temple as the Israelites never repented of their sin that caused them to be taken captive being exiled to Babylon for seventy years.

Israel lost her right to be called Gods chosen people, (God did save a faithful remnant), as they fell into idolatry worshiping other gods as they allowed themselves to fall from Gods grace as they followed the lust of their own hearts as they practiced Judaism, 1 Kings 9:1-9. God’s judgment against them led them to be captured, 605 – 537 B.C., by Nebuchadnezzar and taken into Babylon for seventy years while Nebuchadnezzar’s army killed many Jews in Judah and Jerusalem destroying the whole city of Jerusalem including the first Temple that was built through King Solomon’s reign in Jerusalem.

The second Temple was built under Ezra’s leadership and Israel continued practicing Judaism and their Temple was desecrated as part of an effort to impose Greek-oriented culture and customs on the entire population. Roman rule refurbished the temple as Herod, Romans vassal king, rules the land of Israel. In 70 A.D. the Temple is once again destroyed. The Temple Mount was taken over in 691 A.D. as the Arab nation built the Dome of the Rock and there has not been any other Temple built since that time on the original Temple Mount.

God gave Israel 490 years to repent. They were set free from Babylon when the Medes and Persian conquered Babylon (Chaldean) around 538 B.C. They were allowed back in the land and to rebuild the city of Jerusalem, however, they still did not repent for their sin of idol worshiping and they continued to receive punishment from God as the kingdom was taken away and eventually taken over by the Roman Empire. Malachi Chapter 1-4.

The 490 years were up and many of the Jews not only did not repent but they killed the very Messiah they had been waiting for as well as in 24 A.D. they made an opened display of rejecting the Gospel message as they stoned Stephen being the final messenger that was sent to give them their last chance to repent. The Jews were now rejected as God’s chosen people and were no different from the Gentiles as from that time forth each individual, Jew and Gentile has to make their own decision to accept or reject Jesus as Lord and Savior, John 3:3-7; Romans 10:9, 10.

The disciples were called first to preach to the Jews, Matthew 10:6, and Paul was called to preach to the Gentiles, Acts 22:21. God has saved a remnant out of the twelve tribes of Israel even up to a thousand generations that have always been faithful to Him, Exodus 20:1-6; Psalms 105:7, 8, but those who have yet to accept Jesus as Messiah God will continue to cut them off.

2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Except (Ezekiel 43:4) disagrees with you. "And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east."

The Temple of Ezekiel is not the muslims temple.

No, (Ezekiel 43:4) says God will bring His glory back to the Temple. You say no He won't.
