Which is why I asked.

There are different types of love.

The love of a parent for a child and of a child for a parent.

The love of brothers or of comrades.

Ther is sexual love, where a man and a woman are in love with each other and marry inorder to have sex.

In a loving relationship sex has several functions.
It is a means of giving and recieving pleasure, it is a means of expressing love for that person and it is the means of having children.

Sex outside of a loving relationship Vis always self centered.

Lastly there is the love of and for God.
 
There are two different commands.

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:18-19 KJV

OTOH, married couples are commanded:

So don’t refuse sex to each other, unless you agree not to have sex for a little while, in order to spend time in prayer. Then Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 1 Corinthians 7:5 CEV

Sex was meant to be in the confines of marriage. Animals can have sex without love. Lots of things can be done with or without love. A chef can cook a dish because he’s getting paid, but a family member can cook a dish with love for their loved ones. Same with sex. Some can have sex just to get physical pleasure, but with your spouse, God meant it to be an expression of love.

All I would say to this is, in an ideal world, men would be able to control their libidos. Unfort. When we are young, it's not that easy.

True, and the world makes this much more difficult for men to practice self control. Constant provocative images of women and praising men to feed their libidos only feeds that lust. Not saying women have to dress dowdy, but just look at the celebrities now. Today’s parents aren’t teaching our sons and daughters self control nowadays. It’s become way out of hand.
