We already know that science has shown that dinosaurs existed. I think it even mentions dinosaurs in the Bible. But the real question I have is about the ark. It said two of every animal so did that mean that dinosaurs were there and that they coexisted with man after all? I heard this theory before and at first I thought it was ridiculous, but now I'm actually really curious about it.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind .. Genesis 7:1-4 .. I used to think it was ridiculous .. To my knowledge I've never met a Christian who has experienced and been rich in miracles and the gifts of the Spirit who doubt or say no to Gods Word and when you get to the point where you shut doors and stop seeking then you probably won't move forward from there ..

hello HelsRisen2018, dirtfarmer here

Scripture even mentions fire breathing "dragons": Job 41:19-21

I highly doubt it.

The "two" refers to pairs (a male and a female) but there were 7 pairs of each clean animal and 2 pairs of each unclean animal. I do not believe there were Dinosaurs (giant reptiles) on the ark other than a few necessary types (crocs, alligators, iguanas, and so on)

No dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible.

If that were the case, dinosaurs would exist today since "the flood" wasn't that long ago.
And, since there is no mention of anything like a dinosaur in Genesis, we can conclude that there were none on Noah's ark.

You were right the first time; it is ridiculous.

hello Jim Parker, dirtfarmer here

I believe that scripture, Job 41:18-21 mentions the fire breathing "Leviathan". I know that many think that I am having illusions and don't understand scripture. But, there exist today a beetle that contains combustible liquids when mixed together creates an explosion; the Bombardier Beetle.

As was stated above, scientists are finding the dinosaurs were more bird-like. In Genesis on the fifth day it says "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth".

And remember, God's days aren't numbered like our days.
2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

Showing that he does not measure days in the same time frame as us here on earth.
I believe that the dinosaurs were on day five and then they became extinct, and the way they became extinct (meteor) is the same as what Jesus looks like at the second coming. Revelation 1:14-15

Hi HR, Follow the web cite below and watch the videos. Hope this helps.
Little Known Dinosaur Facts: Origin of the Word Dinosaur
www.forbidden-history.com/dinosaurfacts-owen.html
The word dinosaur literally means "terrible, powerful, wondrous lizards.". The word became popular after biologist and paleontologist, Sir Richard Owen coined the term "Dinosauria" in 1841. The word dinosaur derives from two greek words (deinos) "terrible, powerful, wondrous" + (sauros) "lizard".

Yeah, that is one roadblock I always come up against while sharing my faith. :bricks I think the 1000 years argument is a good one because that would explain that little problem and also help to explain why scientists come up with carbon dating something back to a million years or so (while the bible only goes back a couple thousand).

Hi Joe and welcome!
You may be interested in hearing carbon dating only goes back around 90,000 years. Any older and they have to go to the rocks.
Both methods assume much.

I'm with ya right up to your last sentence. "They shall look upon Him whom they pierced" doesn't leave much room for Him to be a meteor!
