We like talking about scriptures...but we also like talking about a lot of other things too.

We are all a huge group of people who have become friends with each other. And we come from everywhere in the world that speaks English...so there are the cultural differences that we have to bridge but Our Father helps us with it all.

Thank you for your kind words. I am looking forward to getting to know you too! I think community is so important, especially for Christians to have fellowship one with another. We here live all around the world yet this website brings us together! We can learn so much from each other and that is possible because of being connected through this forum. I have not traveled to many places around the world, but here I can make Christian friends from countries I have not been to, and from other states in the U.S. I hope you are all happy today and that the peace of God is abounding in your hearts and minds. I will be praying for you!

just a lil backstory (cue music) : it took a lot of work, mostly for the moderator's and other staff, to get this place to be...civil. inviting. a real community. I don't think things were ever as rough here as they can get elsewhere, but...wow. If you feel like it, give up a prayer for this place, especially the people who run it, day by day. =especially- in an online, format, it is -not- easy to create a warm, hospitable, friendly environment for facilitating the development of Christ-like character. true story.

other than that, I'm really, really glad that you're really, really glad to be here. seriously. CFnet has become a quality place, over the years.

There is such happiness found in communities of respect and appreciation. Thank you for being a bright light to make this a great community! I have enjoyed being able to see all these kind words and being welcomed with kindness. We are called to be light and salt in the earth and inspire, encourage, and truly help one another to grow in our faith.

Thank you so much! Your kind words mean very much to me. You stay strong too and keep encouraging yourself in the LORD. Even though we are living in unprecedented times, the LORD is with you wherever you go!! This is as true for you as it was for Joshua in the Old Testament! Jesus will keep making a way for you !! Hi Christ_empowered,

If memory serves me correctly I first started posting on the Internet around late 1996 to early 1997 and it certainly has devolved majorly. What were considered "Flame Wars" then are fairly tame by today's standards. A sign of the times we live in, sadly. Hopefully we can produce something of higher quality that will honour God here.
