Another thread made me think of this idea. Are there any special talents that you have? I can't sing worth a lick but I can sure rap. I don't do anything too vulgar of course. I can also write stories pretty well as I stated before. :) Here are just a couple of songs that I rap to that I don't think breaks the rules. Please let me know if I'm wrong though.

The only talent I have is writing books that never get published :biggrin. Cost to much. I've only written two, but not quite done with the second one. They're both scriptural teaching books that I basically use n here. I wrote the first one many years ago when I use to take the gospel into the prisons when I did prison ministry through a Church I use to attend. The second book is on Revelations. I have 3 more chapters to write. I probably got over 100 other topics to make a third book, but will just keep them in my archives and keep dragging them out when I need them.

About the only thing i do is fix broken stuff... Dont know if it s a talent or learned cause i broke so much stuff..
When working maintenance for a water bottling company it was fun to 'make the machines work" as often as i could , while waiting for the parts to come in.

that's a very useful talent

I forgot, here's another song by Pitbull that I love rapping along to. I never saw the movie but I do love the song. Party time Lol :lol :dunce:shades:sohappy

sorry I think this funny but you can delete it if you think it is in bad taste

I play guitar, mostly fingerstyle covers on a classical. I have a bad habit of never learning a whole song, only say 40 to 80 per cent.
What type of classical guitar music do you play?
I am very left handed but was taught standard right hand style. I find fast plucking more difficult so ended up steering towards more lute composers than modern ones.

I did learn for a year or two. Composers were Sor and Scarlatti if I remember correctly. I never learnt J S Bach, which was shame. I've lost the ability to rest stroke and read sheet music easily now.

I like Bach but to play at a "pass grade" level I would have to practice a lot more scales and play it a lot more.

There would be beginners websites there. I used them to get back in practice after years of lapsed music practice.

Classical music is very spiritual I think. It is worth the effort to practice.

I realize that this is a rather old topic, but I just discovered last night that I can make myself sneeze. I've known for the longest time that I can make myself burp, but due to the fact that I've had quite the tickle in my nose lately (along with an itchy one and itchy eyes and a bit of a sore throat today with a small cough) it actually really comes in handy. :)
