Light in darkness

I agree as God's Spirit is not going to prompt us to read the Bible. Those who hunger for Spiritual truth will seek the Holy Spirit as they hunger for the word.Yes the truth in the Bible has to be spiritually discerned. But the spirit cannot teach what people have not read and we are not to wait for the spirit to prompt us to read the bible.
As it is it is the word of God, it doesn't contain the word of God or become the word of God under the influence of the spirit.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
What is written in the Bible are the verbal inspired words of God as He instructed the Prophets and Apostles what to write. God is the living word as the Bible is God's word written down like a journal if you will, that we need to be reading and studying everyday by first praying and asking the Holy Spirit to teach us from within the Spiritual realm of God. The carnal mind cannot perceive the things of the Spirit as wisdom and understanding can only come by hearing and knowing the voice of the Holy Spirit who speaks to us, sometimes verbally or puts thoughts in our mind that we search out within the scriptures, 1 Corinthians 2:6-16.
