Below freezing now here. During the early hours of this morning, we had a thunderstorm, followed by about 3-1/2 inches of snow. Sun came out late morning to help melt away some of the snow. Tomorrow, temps to be above freezing. Spring is definitely approaching... yea!

This coming winter i want to go for a snowboard. I have to drive 5 hours if i want to see snow so i get really excited. Its something i dont see very often in life.

My adult offspring enjoy the snow, including snowboarding & skiing. Hope you get the chance to snowboard during your upcoming winter :wave2

We got about 6 inches yesterday and it was hovering around zero degrees out yesterday morning. It was 27 outside around 9ish this morning, so yippie, we are on a warming trend.... I'm so excited.... yeah right. Actually, I'm just sick of this cold weather lol.

Wheather's been awesome here this week. I'm outside all day due to my job, so I really got a lot of sunlight. Though the nights are still frosty.
But yesterday afternoon I've been swimming in our river. Can't remember I've ever been swimming outdoors in march, but we had more than 20 C yesterday, and that's warm enough for me to take a dip in the water. We have a good access to the river from the area where I work. The water was freaking cold and it was unbearable to stay in the river longer than a half minute at a time but it was awesome. Part of me really loves the climate change. :lol
Funny thing was, people in the streets were dressed according to the month rather than according to the actual temperatures, so while I was swimming in the river and then laying in the sun half naked to warm up again people on the street were walking by in thick jackets, winter boots and hats on.

Ha! Well Claudya , last time it hit above 30 here people were in t-shirts and shorts! I'm sure some of them would have went swimming if the river wasn't frozen!

lol Fahrenheit scale is weird. 30 F is arctic, 30 C is darn hot.
By golly I figured out this whole climate thingy! We're simply using the wrong scale to measure the temperature! I get it! That's why them kids are wearing t-shirts and shorts... cause it's just darn hot outside! And them blokes in your part of the world? They must be old transplants from the west before we converted to the Metric system!

Your absolutely brilliant Claudya !

So the northern USA had a rather mild winter this year, you just looked at the wrong thermometer.

Your absolutely brilliant Claudya !
Indeed, I am. Glad I could help.
lol

Glad you found your blue sandal :clap

(By the way, each time I see your new avitar, I can't help but laugh aloud. Hilarious!)
