Story about salvation
When was the day that I came to Christ, or when did Christ call me?
First, to understand what made me seek Christ, I tell you the trauma that became tragic in my life.
I know in my walk-in life that there are, many young people; parents that have gone thought, as we see the world is sinful but also hopeful from the future.
People will judge for it is in their nature to do so.
For many years I was homeless, my father, not to go into detail, he abused me all most to death, I had to leave my home at a very young age, for my heart could not endure any longer, and there were people who knew but did nothing.
Society as well, but I knew fathers that love their children
You think at a young age someone would tell me about Christ, no one did.
I didn’t know what was a Christ was at that time
I will not justify their action, or anyone because, as one in Christ forgiveness’ overpower all.
What made me to seek Christ? As got older I walk the streets I pass by a church and the door were open, I was curious and walk by the door, there was nobody inside, but I came just to take a look, I just I sat for a moment look at the stained glass, with my innocence, what is this about, having no idea what was it all about, no one was in the church at that time, for it was a weekday.
That was the first time I walk into a church, I didn’t even know what prayers were.
One day my mother was looking for me, she thought I pass away, at the time I was a volunteer at the hospital, she was so worried about me, but in my struggle, I did a little better.
By the way, I was still homeless, She and my father were divorced, the next day I when to see her and I saw her family that didn’t even know, that evening my mother and others relative cooks a wonderful dinner, I never had a home cook meal in years.
After dinner one my relative decided to play a gospel song, thanking the lord for family.
I just cried, he said I know what happy to you, do you know Christ, I said no, he give me a true story about Christ in his life.
I wasn’t sure about much, he asks me to do you like to know Christ, I wasn’t sure, but I’ll give it some thought, I wasn’t a very happy person, I keep away from people became I am very shy.
A week later, my mother, she call me at the hospital to take me to see my relative, when she saw me, ask me why are you volunteering so much at the hospital so I may eat, I don’t have a place to live, and that’s the only place I can eat and have some sleep, and bathe.
She was shocked when I told her that, she cries, and said don’t worry mom I have my life. But deep down in my heart, I needed salvation., I was curious about the gospel my mother took me to Church were my relative, go and saw him play the gospel songs, then everybody when to the altar to pray, I was at the front Church, and wanted to participate, the man touch people on their head, and they cry so much.
Now I had a little understanding, days later I was not myself, at that time salvation was far from me, I needed whatever made those people so happy after crying so much.
I when back to the Church to participate at the altar, the man asks me my name, and then what do you what as a prayer, I said what they have Sir, Happiness, because I was so nervous, and did cry.
You know I felt worse after that day, what happens to me, I cry more than ever.
Every day I cry, some fear came upon me, I had to go to see my relative ask him why? He prayed over me, I had come to him every day, it was just about a week, then he said, I think that I may not help you in this, he said this is something between you and the Lord, go home and pray to the Lord, you have a heavy burden in your heart, I said how, I don’t know what is prayers, just say what in your heart, the Lord will do the rest, okay please help me, he said, you’re going to be okay, he said I see faith! In you!
By all this time I knew nothing about the gospel, I did as he instructs to do, having no idea what’s to came over me, but in faith, I did so.
For two weeks I cry and prayed what was in my heart, strange things happen to me, very spiritual. At the being, some form of darkness came upon me, but as my heart poured out a little glimmer of light started to appear, I lost so much weight.
After those days a little weight of peace came, but it did not stop and still today’ I study the gospel to understand what is really happening, the Lord gave me a discernment to study, I never finish school, but the gospel educated me and what you see and read is part of that study.
I think maybe this story that salvation is an experience; it is not just the reading of the word, but the power of the word in the life of a Christian
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
